    What ussualy happens is the pulley will have spline left on the inside of pulley that catches the spline on the shaft. I used a gear puller to get them off. You can possibley hold the shaft still and rotate the pulley to get the groove to line up.

    Anybody looking to get a spare key for their 2008 to 2013, google a ZD23RT5 key. It was not available for a while, but just got 2 blanks from ekeyblanks.com and had Ace hardware cut and clone a spare key. This one cost me $20.00 for key blank and $4.00 to get it cut. They did not charge for cloning.

    Also, make sure you check your battery connections. Grab the cables at the battery, if you can move either, clean and retighten the connections. Had the same happen on my 2013 with the same symptoms. Also, helps to put star washers on bolts

    On my rt which uses the same type of latch. I found that the return spring at the latch was on the wrong side of the release lever at the latch. had to remove latch and reinstalled spring on the cable side of latch. It would latch and then open going down the road.
