• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My dealer got the official word from BRP today and they said while it is not normal for the spyder to move at idle in 1st gear it has become a common characteristic of the spyder. As interpreted by my dealer means nothing will be done about it. Maybe if more complain BRP will listen. :dontknow:

    opinion on 1" riser

    I had the exact same symptoms today and my bike later in the ride would not shift out of 3rd. I had to turn it off and on a couple times before it would go into neutral. Lets us know what your dealer says.

    I am so impressed with this "Family"

    I read a post recently about a newbie afraid to ride there spyder home and there were people offering to ride the bike to a safe place so the buyer wouldn’t have to jump straight into high speed traffic. Now that’s what I call class. :shocked:

    Big brother has a little sister

    The DMV in Charleston, SC gave me the royal treatment I had 4 inspectors during my trike test, no stress NOT. SC requires a brand new test for trikes and they didn’t have a clue what to do. Naturally I passed with some luck but the process was interesting to say the least. :cheers:

    not a poor performer

    Sticks and stones will break my bones. We as Spyder owners need not worrie about the negative comment by others. The fact is people like us find the specifications/power just fine. There will always be something faster and more powerful, but I doubt as cool looking. :2thumbs:
