• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Garmin/Zumo GPS Caution

I have a 2015 RTL with the BRP supplied Garmin GPS. The other day I noticed that I was not getting turn by turn instructions through my Spyder's speakers. I checked the volume control on the GPS and got an error of something like I either needed to be connected to a headset or speakers. I...

    Is this normal

The included photo is of what I believe is my 2015 RTL 1330 Air Intake Manifold. You will see arrows pointing to a hole. This photo is taken from the right side of my RT. What I'm trying to find out is if this hole is normal or abnormal (defect). I squirted some brake cleaner in there while...

Long Story of trouble with Sena SM10

I mounted my SM10 under the seat in the trough on the gas cap side and it works perfectly. I posted some photos when I did this years ago. Rob

    Tri Axis Ram Ball

Mine works perfectly, but I got it from Lamonster and it came with the rubber inserts AND it still required a bit of wiggling and tightening to get it in the sweet spot.. Why don't you make some rubber inserts from an old inner tube or foam tape or other like product? I think you'll like the...

    Test rode my first RT

Nearly every 2-wheeled person that tries a Spyder doesn't like it very much. I was one of those. After several test rides I finally was okay, but still didn't love it; bought one anyway. After a month I loved it and now 4 years later I can't imagine anything else. I think you will find the...

    Lifting my 2018 RTL......

I'm not sure if your problem is wanting to lift, let it down, or reconnect the spring. As to the spring, you are correct it is part of your exhaust system. My memory is there are three of them and they are tough to get on and off. A T-Handle with a hook spring remover really helps. I ended...

    Buying a used Spyder

The dealer can plug-in and tell you a bit about the owner's riding style, rpm, shifting, etc. Mike is right if the seller self-maintained, but if the seller purchased oil, filters, etc from the dealer and/or has good records, you can get some sense of maintenance. Good luck. Rob

    Deadwood 3 Wheeler Rally???

You can find info on sponsoring hotels and other info here: https://www.d3wr.com It appears that many of the hotels are full so you may have to take a broader look into places like Spearfish, airbnb, etc. From my experience all of the hotels in Deadwood are similar. If you get interested in a...

2019 Spyder RT LTD - Battery dead - check DPS warning and multiple fault codes

What a horrible initial experience with your '19 RTL. I wish I could help you. I strongly suggest you take this back to the dealer and make it their issue as what if there are other issues with your new bike. The best to you, Rob

    Few Q's about servicing

The hours between last service will not be reset on your bike. Meaning, from a BRP perspective it will not look like you have serviced your bike. If you do it yourself make sure and keep your purchase records so you can show service has been completed if you have a problem. The other option...
