• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Corbin Seat Parts

So I called Kevin @ Toledo and he was very responsive. He was also a little supprised that Corbin would not talk to me but gladly offered to do the leg work for me. Short story, I have to wait two weeks and the cost is $60 for the harness. If there wasn't a factory connector at the seat I would...

    Corbin Seat Parts

I purchased a used heated Corbin seat for my RTS from a fellow SpyderLover but its missing the harness and mini fuse that goes from the seat harness to the fuse box. I called Corbin who said they were unable to sell directly to me and I needed to go through one of their distributors. After 10...

    Heim Joint

I was concerned about the Heim Joints also after reading about a few failures and just bit the bullet and ordered 2 costing $28. I thought it would be worth it, if just for piece of mind, when I was installing Ron's sway bar.

    Americade 2013 Official Thread

I received a registration package today for Americade. I spent some time looking for lodging but there didn't seem to be much available close by that was reasonably priced. If anyone has some suggestions I'd like to go up Thursday and return Sunday. It would be my first time attending Americade...

Have Spyders improved much in last 3 years?

I have a 2010 RTS SE5 with about 15K on it and I have never experienced issues with fouled plugs. With the exception of some very minor issues I have been trouble free and would jump on it at any time, and go any where. I have experienced an extended crank time if the engine is hot and I...

Better Fuel Milage for the RT?

Jerbear, I have a little over 15,000 miles and would love to get 30-35 mpg but average around 28. I always attributed it to my aggressive driving habbits. Based on the link you provided it looks like upper 20's is the norm. Great reference for information, thanks.

    must haves

    (1) Third brake light (2) LED mud flap turn signals (3) Front & rear LED side lights (4) Right side radiator block off plate (5) Bajaron's Sway Bar My suggestions are based on safety, suggesting doing additional lights, the block off plate so you get some relief on your right foot during hot...

    Info on Pet Carriers

Custom Dog Carrier I found a used RT622 trailer lid and modified it for my 40 lb Puggle. We were still in training last fall and winter set in so we will continue in in the spring. It seemed every time we went out our dog would bark and bark. I was a little nervous that he was scared and it...

RT Sway Bars are NOW IN STOCK!

Ron a few questions, I installed the EVO bar on my 2010 RT and as I remember they provided replacement bushings. Because your bar is larger in diameter I can assume you provide new bushings and brackets? Additionally, you identify the parts on the end of the sway bar as Heim Link Joints. Would...

One Year Anniversary 2012 RT Limited

BikerDoc, :agree: My 2010 RTS SE5 only has about 15000 miles since I bought it in November of 2010 but I would completely agree on the reliability and endless smiles it provides. I too have had some minor issues but nothing that kept me off of it for more than a few days. It is the most...

Paint problems on hood, finish not warrantied

I'm very interested in an accurate answer as to what BRP's legal obligation is regarding paint issues. It just doesn't seem possible that they can exclude paint in the factory warranty. I can't find anything in writing, can anyone else ?

Update on wobbling issue with 2013 RTS

Over the years we have said over and over the importance of a quality pre delivery inspection. Especially on a new model you would think that BRP and their dealers would be committed to being sure the newest, latest and greatest products are being delivered trouble free (I guess it really boils...
