• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

K&N Air Filter Install - Pics Inside

There is no disputing that the K&N let's in more dirt particles. However, it also let's in more air. We would often find dirt on the intake tubes of our ATV's that ran K&N filters. That being said we also never had a problem with a motor because of it.

Snow Storm - Taking the Panels off - Check for???

Check the hose clamps on the fuel filter. Many have been loose causing small amounts of gas to leak.

Aerocharger taking pre-orders for Spyder Turbo kit NOW!

I used to drag race ATV's and a friend put a Turbo on a Yamaha Raptor and spent more than $5K on it. The Raptor never ran as fast with the turbo as it did without. It would be really nice to get some track or Dyno time to prove out the added performance for the Spyder kit.

Rear Wheel - How easy to rotate?

I noticed the new pads tend to rub on the rotor. There was a fix for squeeky brakes using a spring that will probably stop the rubbing as well.

    Replacement tire questin?

The rear rim does not fit on most auto balancers because the shaft is too large. Most M/C shops can balance the rear. BTW, I was able to remove the rear without adjusting the belt. Just remove the bottom shock bolt which will give more than enough slack on the belt to slip it off the...

They were a bit snug as I remember but just torqued them down and seems OK. Going to call Ken and see what he recommends.

    Evoluzione Sway Bar

Hmmmm, I have had mine installed for over a year. I used the stock clamps and bushings. My bar did not come with anything other than the bar itself. Anyone see a problem with using the stock bushings?

new muffler or no new muffler

The Leo Vince does not require repacking and has a quiet core in case it's too loud. I have 14K miles without issue. One of the better sounding too.

    Second Impressions

I think the oversteer you are feeling may be the Toe. I noticed the RT models have a slight Toe-in where the RS is still set to Toe-out.

    new three-wheeler bmw-powered

It's amazing how some of you can guage the worth by looking at pics... I would guess these are much more stable than our Spyder and assuming you can drift through a corner a lot more fun to drive.

    MC Tire changes?

I had a local tire shop mount the tire and then had to take it to a motorcycle shop to have them balance.

    Spewing fuel

Check the hose going from the intake to the fuel filter. My guess is the leak is coming from the fuel filter connection. It's an easy fix with a worm gear clamp.

    Elka Shocks Install and review

Adjusting the preload also changes the ride height. Making a pre and post install measurement may be a good idea for anyone looking to install a set.

    Yellow Spyder Fire

Several folks have mentioned the clamps that hold the fuel line onto the filter have been loose. I checked mine and as soon as I touched it gas dripped from the connection. Replaced with worm gear clamps and all is well. My $ is on this being the cause of at least some of these fires.

I found that my Spyder wanders at 30PSI. I have mine at 40PSI now and it handles a ton better.
