• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Seal floorboards and heat

This post concerns me because I wonder if there are other problems with this RT. I had the deluxe Seal boards last summer and I did have heat issues while riding at the owners event in Durango. I had Harvey install his block off plate and relief was immediate. We rode with temps over 100...

How to fly a 3 x 5 ft. flag for PGR missions WITHOUT having a trailer hitch

This looks pretty good. How stable is it at speed? I can't tell for sure but how tall is the pole overall. Does the flag clear the tail lights and your other flags? Thanks for sharing - great idea!!

    What is your maintenance routine?

Ride like the wind every day. Dealer performs routine maintenance (service contract). Ride some more. 29,750 mi with no problems. Some mods with the help of Doc_Riverside (well, if you know Doc, I helped him ...). Check oil, air, etc when I slow down :ohyea:

Problems with a 2012 Spyder RT ltd in the first year

I would say a lot of this is dealer related. I am lucky to use a Platinum dealer that has a well trained tech. I do have a service contract and that helps. It is hot here, too but with floorboards and the block off plate, it is not a problem. I have ridden with this set up in 105 deg. temp...

    New - RT dash pouch

Glad to see they responded to our feedback. I have the original pouch - solid back and it didn't work very well because of the wind under the windshield making it lose. I cut the three bags apart and then used double sided outdoor tape to secure to the dash. It worked great. I sent them...

I use my mirrors and have no problems - guess that comes from driving a truck. If you use a camera, don't forget that things will be in reverse as you maneuver.

    ULTIMATE SEAT

I really like mine (Tall Boy with backrest). The problems with seats is each rider has different needs. You might find the Corbin perfect or too hard. I like the Ultimate because it seems to have more support on the outside edges. It replaced a BRP Comfort seat that was pretty good, with the...

    Bra

I have seen them but I don't know who sells them. What you need is SpyderPops Bump Skid - it is designed for just your problem. I don't think the bra would do much for you.

    12 Volt Outlet died

F9 in the frunk ... 10a. For some reason, when I unplug my Sirius receiver it blows the fuse - even if the radio is off so I just leave it plugged in. I installed a SAE 2 pin plug under the seat that works for my battery maintainer and the compressor. I guess it would also work for heated...

    Nation of Patriots

I participated in this ride from Brunswick, GA to Jacksonville, FL on Monday. I saw a video of the ride from Savannah to Brunswick and I think I saw 4 Spyders on that leg. I met a lot of great folks and was honored to support the cause

    Fuel treatment

I have used Star Tron for a year and a half - when home, 1 oz every three tanks or so. On trips, nearly every tank. Unless you can get non-alcohol gas I would highly recommend it to keep everything in suspension. I carry it in my saddlebag and have had no problems with the heat.

    XM Radio Antenna

I stuck my Sirius portable in the trunk and use the AUX cable to listen (can't control channels :() I stuck the antenna behind the passenger backrest, on top of the fiberglass (which is under my Inspector Gadget rack). The only time I lose signals is on a tight, mountain road. I have not had...
