• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Comfort / Ergonomics for 6'01" 32" inseam 300lb rider on 19 - 21 RTL?

First, the 2019 and 2020+ are vastly different. I'm your size and found my '18 RT to be a little cramped although that can be rectified with the addition of the Comfort seat (pushes you back a couple of inches) and possibly the Tri Axis handlebars (so you can still reach the grips). The Comfort...

Looking for Handlebar risers for 2018 RT - any suggestions?

While I LOVE my Helibars, there's no such thing for a 2018 RT.

    Front end vibration

Not yet. I visited my elderly parents last weekend so I couldn't get to the tire shop. I'm hoping to get there this weekend if it's not raining. One of the wheel weights had come loose so I remove all of them and added some balancing beads. No change. I live in NC so there's no such thing as a...

Looking for Handlebar risers for 2018 RT - any suggestions?

Not for a 2018. The only option is the Tri Axis bars. Figure about $600 for the bars and another $600 in labor as it's VERY labor intensive.

    Flood Info-Maggie Valley

I get what everybody is saying. I really do. The fact is that after the Sturgis rally, the new COVID cases skyrocketed. Could be it would have happened even without the rally although I doubt it. If you have thousands of people crammed together, there's going to be a problem. With that said...

    Flood Info-Maggie Valley

I'm all for enjoying time with riding friends but you couldn't pay me enough to be in a group of people right now. Look what happened after Sturgis. Nope.

Shifting in the neutral at stops.

Just my personal opinion but I would NEVER shift into neutral at a stop light or in construction. If I need to move out of someones way (like they're barreling down behind me, etc), I don't want to waste that extra split second shifting into gear before I crank on the throttle to get away. I...

    any trikes with Auto tranny?

The Spyder doesn't have a fully automated transmission. It's only semi automatic (big difference). The Ryker is fully automatic (CVT). I can't think of any other 3 wheelers that have a fully automatic transmission unless you start talking about Slingshots or a Vanderhall.

    Front end vibration

Idaho---I looked although I may have missed part of the belt. I didn't see a rock although I didn't hear any issues just FELT the vibration. Wmoater---Nope. No issues (or clicks/sounds) there. When I was under the bike a few months ago installing the frunk liner, I checked the end links then...

    Front end vibration

I'll try that but I KNOW I haven't hit any potholes big enough to warp/bend a wheel. This is a new issue and I've only ridden it a couple of times since everything was fine. I bought the tires (Q5s) online so if the tire is bad, I'll need to buy another pair of tires since nobody carries the Q5s...

    Front end vibration

Hey, all. I recently developed a front end vibration, worse around 55-70mph but present at all speeds. I have almost brand new Q5s on the front. I noticed that lost one (or more) of the right wheel weights so I removed the rest of them and added 2oz of tire beads. Didn't make any difference...

    Removing Headlight Central Fairing?

What Joel said. If you're a bit nervous about just ripping that off, try to pull up in the middle whilst holding down on one end. Once that end pops out (and it will), pull it free from the other side.

2022 Spyder RT Limited or F3 Limited. Same price.

Or you could look into an almost new '21 RT with more installed add-ons than you can shake a stick at. Coincidentally, I have just that for sale.

2019 RT Limited Options vs Standard

The CB radio wasn't offered for 2019.

2019 RT Limited Options vs Standard

IIRC, only 2 are used. Heated grips and windscreen adjustment. Previous years also had a switch to adjust the rear suspension.

    Thoughts on the 2021 RT...

I used to own a 2018 RT and currently ride a 2021 RT. IMHO, the 2021 is far above the previous generation in comfort, handling and style (although the last one is subjective).

    20/21 RT Helibar pics

Before you spend HOW MUCH? Helibars are $600 all day long. Less if you can find them on sale. You can absolutely swap them out yourself.

Risers - anyone tried them? Can I fit DIY?

OP---It depends what you ride. If you have an F3 or a 2020+ RT, those are good suggestions. You can NOT add risers to a PRE 2020 RT.

Pedal commander questions on a 2021 RT

It's NOT waterPROOF. It's water RESISTANT. If you plan to ride in the rain, I'd suggest you carry a zip lock baggie and a couple of rubber bands and cover it up when reain threatens.
