• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    That's exactly what happens. I do that when I'm changing out the windscreen or need to clean the bottom inside of the same. Next time you cycle the key, it'll revert to "normal". I kind of like the new set up. Less to get damaged when you've got a cover on the bike.

    Remove the passenger seat, lift up the rear of the body colored cover then gently squeeze the front "hooks" in and pull backwards. Mine was stuck so I had to finesse each side out gently. Once I get them out, I added a dab of grease to each side. Hasn't been a problem since.

    450 miles, most of it 45mph with quite a few slower speed limits. I think the Roanoke, VA area is still closed as are a couple misc spots farther south. With some careful planning, you could probably hop off the BRP to get around those. Dusk/dawn has a lot of wildlife so I'd ride during daylight...

    All depends what year RT you have. You can use Lamonsters riser on the 2020+ only. Prior to that, the ONLY option is the Tri Axis bars.

    is BRP Connect app compulsory to use the phone in F3?

    You do NOT need the BuRP Connect app for BT phone/bike/helmet use. I had my phone BT'ed to the bike and the bike BT'ed to my lid. Works fine that way. The only time you need the BuRP Connect app/stuff is if you want to use those specific apps. YMMV trying to use those apps/Connect.

    I WAS going to buy this but Revzilla said it was a bit rounder than some others (like my Shoei). My HJC RPHA 90 is too round for me so I didn't think this would work. Great design idea being able to go from modular to 3/4.

    Completely agree with Mikey. Assuming you bought it new and got the instructions, just follow those. It's simple. The hardest thing is getting the front of the bike high enough. You remove (2) belly panels then just follow the instructions to remove the old and install the new.

    F4 Windshield installation - No loctite?

    I've got a multitude of aftermarket windscreens (2 F4s and a 7Jurock). I've never put any Loctite on any of the windscreen bolts. The windscreen isn't going anywhere.
