• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FEDERAL EVO 595 TIRES

I had over 43000 miles on my 2012 front OEM Kenda tires so was pretty pleased with them. However, less than 8000 miles on my 2014 RTL resulted in both front tires looking like they belonged in a junk yard. My dealer replaced them with Federal EVOS and I have 28000+ on them now with very...

    RT or F3

I have both the RT and the F3 and love aspects of both of them. I have ridden the F3 on a Saddlesore 1000 but found it to be more "work" than doing the Saddlesore 1000 on the RT. Especially on the longer rides the lack of convenient storage becomes a greater nuisance and I even have tail bag...

    Fair price for rt622 trailer

$2000 might even be a bit optimistic - it certainly would be a great buy. The 622 s are holding their value well, especially since the Freedom trailer has come out with lower capacity and manufactured from plastic instead of fiberglass

    Yellow Tag Sale Event

My dealer recently told me that in the US that BRP had extended the $4000/ or $3000 RT rebate offer that was to expire 7/31 until 8/30 and added a $1000 rebate on F3s. Haven't seen that in writing yet

    F3 Saddlesore 1000

I will do the Jacksonville to San Diego 50CC early next year but all the gravel roads I see in the pictures from the Alaska trip kind of turn me off on that corner to corner route.

    Switching from Harley to Spyder

What kind of Harley ? A trike or a two wheel (and which one) Can't really answer your question without that info. Lots of us have ridden Harleys during our lifetime of motorcycles

Do I need an extended warranty?

I might price shop but I would never own a spyder out of warranty. Repair costs can be astronomical if anything goes wrong

    Certification

I have done the SS1000 and Bun Burner 1500 on the RT and then the SS1000 on the F3. Have scheduled the SS2000 for Sept 2/3 on F3 and plan to do at least one ryde per month for 12 months to qualify for MileEater Silver. Also plan to do the 50CC (Jacksonville to San Diego in 50 hrs) by early...

    F3 Saddlesore 1000

Left Tuesday evening 6:30Pm on my F3 accompanied by RT Spyder Owner Doug Chasick. We rode straight through the night and completed 1065 miles in 16.25 hours with average speed of 65.54 mph, qualifying for the Saddlesore 1000 certificate from the Iron Butt Association (1000 miles in 24 hrs)...

    F3 vs F3S

All BRP options seem pretty steep in price to most of us, but having said that, as a distance ryder I would never dream of going without electronic cruise control..

    Smell after riding

You didn't say how old the bike was.. Sometimes they are a little smelly during break in periods.. Its possible you could have something wrong but as you can see the crowd here doesn't take it took seriously. I have found that most of the things i think might be wrong tend to go away with...

IS THE F3 LESS VISIBLE IN TRAFFIC?

The F3 suffers for the same problem as all other Spyders - -- they are not sufficiently lit to be safe during either the day or night. I believe that is why so many people add supplemental lighting to increase their safety. The F3 does indeed have a lower profile making it somewhat more...
