• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i got got a price today on a new 15 limited edition its in the 26,700 range is this a good deal. I'm also looking at putting a guard on it because I ride on gravel , and I want the comfort seat and backrest.

Thoughts or or ideas would be great.

I don't think so, I've found them several thousand cheaper than that.

After all; none of us will be writing the check... :shocked:

Make sure that you've got a dealer who can give you good service AFTER the sale.
You can save thousands of dollars on the selling price, and end up with it costing you countless headaches! nojoke
 
Check out the other places then go to your dealer and see if they will match it or come close enough to make you happy. You might be lucky and have a dealer that does not care where you bought your Spyder and will service you the same as if you had bought it there. But there are more than a few dealers who will shove you to the back of the line if you didn't purchase from them. You can "like" a sales person but you need to "love" the service department!

:agree: x 2 If I could not get the good service that I do, I would have got rid of my :spyder2:'s long ago. I am not able to get the "best" price by shopping around, but I have always got a "fair" price. They know me, and they take care of any issues that arise.

:agree:I tried to work with 3 of my local dealers, and no one could come close to Louis Powersports in Texas. So, I had to purchase from Louis, and they made it a very pleasant experience. I saved $3k over my local dealers.
Then I talked to the local dealers again and came across the dealer that wanted my service business. After finding the right one, I couldn't be happier.
 
Since your in Virginia I would hold off till Sep or October and you will probably Save a Extra 3 thousand or More?
I bought my New 2012 RT sm5 (List $21,499) for $17,000 in October 2012?nojoke

Okay,

I got an offer of $24, 999. for a RT limited. What are your thoughts. I still have to pay tax and tags. But not bad. Then would have to get comfort seat and backrest.. any ideas on cost for those two things?
