• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Bearing Buddies???

I think with the Bearing Buddie type hubs you will be tempted to over grease them causing seal failure. Just maintain the bearings per the factory instructions.

    Towing

We don't tow my wife's Spyder but the BRP full cover does fit tight. I think there could still be a problem with dirt and and rub marks from the wind.

    What will void my warranty

I have always done the all the work I can on my bikes and order from discount places. I am by all means not a wealthy person that can support the local dealers and pay their prices just to to have a good relationship. Never had any problems having warranty work done with the Spyder or my Harley's.

    Dead Spyder need some help.

If the battery is good,3 weeks of no charging should effect it. I have had my Harley and wifes Spyder unplugged for months. They both started easily.

No,it is illegal. Lots of owners change out the exhaust on bikes. Normally you only get a ticket for loud exhaust if a cop notices.

I'm willing to bet it is up to the dealer's discretion.

IS THE DEALER RESPONSIBLE FOR REPAIR?

Unless there a service bulletin regarding faulty radiator bungs,I don't think the dealer is responsible. Would the dealer be responsible for replacing a seized axle/axle nut during a tire change?

New guy prepping for the demo ride

It would be hard to compare the ride quality for your wife if you can't test ride a TriGlide. I have been on the back on my wife's '11 RT and there was no swaying..Perhaps since it was your first demo ride you were making the bike sway?

Payments will be the biggest factor.

For my wife's Spyder,SF had the best price. You would think having multi policies with a company would give a better rate. We have our cars and house with AAA. Got quotes for my bike and the Spyder and it was too high!

    Expired warranty

You would think BRP would want your money but I guess that's not the case. When I bought my wife a used 2011 RT it was still under the factory warranty. The owner said there was no ext. warranty. So after reading the warranty transfer info in the manual I was confused. To play it safe I called...

Payments will be the biggest factor.

You could lower your payments a lot if you buy an older model.
