• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

a cancer ride looking for a spyder

Looks like the Spyder is needed to ride support for the bicyclists. I think it would be a hoot, especially for someone who is also an experienced cyclist and can change tires, adjust derailleurs, etc. Maybe a little more lead time would help for next time.

How long before it won't run with bad throttle body?

The first time my throttle body went bad it let me ride about another 50 miles and then the thing just wouldn't start. The second time was on the way to Spyderfest. But it let me make it down and back, only recurring a few times which was cleared by turning the ignition on and off several...

    Can-Am Spyder RT

Certainly evolutionary rather than revolutionary. I like that - they need to take the time to sort the issues which continue, and it gives them the opportunity to fine tune some things. The adjustable handlebars are very neat!

Need prayers for my son Nathan

The look of that helmet says a lot about the value of a full face. It was worth every penny!

    And the best Maps are...

Some nice features there, Doc. Thanks for the post. In the 3D view I found that road names disappear - kinda limits the usefulness of that view.

    New - RT dash pouch

Not only does it look tacky but it tends to come loose in the heat.

I've got nothing against Nebraska but...

The sand hills of Nebraska, up in the NW section is a very nice area. Picturesque. (My wife is from Nebraska, and I lived there for 4 years, so I have to stand up for the state.)

how much wind, is too much wind

When I got stuck many miles from home in very high winds I found an alternate road that permitted me to ride at slower speeds. That let me survive the trip home and ride another day!

    My new toy

:agree: That was my first BMW. It was a very comfortable bike on the highway - great at gobbling up the miles. And lots of storage space. It's the only BMW I've owned that I didn't feel needed an after-market saddle. Enjoy!

TOTALLY CLUELESS AND IN THE DARK TO BOOT

I find having the audio part of the GPS is very important. It means that in heavy traffic, rain, fog, etc. I can listen to the GPS and not take my eyes off the road to look at the map. The 660, now replaced by the 665, works well with my Sena bluetooth unit.

    9/16/12 in Stockbridge, MI

It was a huge turnout in Stockbridge with lots of neat bikes. Sadly, our RT isn't rideable so we were there on 2 wheels, but enjoyed seeing all the bikes, including a classic Indian and some really nice Triumph's. We couldn't stay too long as Geri needed to get home and do some work for...

    BR-1 has company :(

George, If the prior post is correct and the problem lies with your dealer, not the Spyder and not BRP, then maybe you need to find another horse to beat. JMHO. Your experience has been very disheartening and disappointing to many of us, but takes on a different light if the problem lies...
