• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Excited about this years riding events!

I had intended on making 2017 a big year for Spyder events. But the Army informed me I'm going to Korea for a year and it put a damper on things. I am locked for homecoming and 50/50 on Spyder Odyssey.

I am tearing into it for the first time today

Mike, I have a dumb question. I read the Wikipedia version of the act and did not see where it mentions a person cannot void a warranty if they do their own maintenance. Assuming you are correct, you know more about this than I do, my question pertains to a comment in the California page where...

    Long Term Storage Advice

Thank you! Selling did cross my mind, but I would lose my @$$ on farkles and upgrades. It's only a year old.

    Long Term Storage Advice

So after thinking I would never have to move again until I retire from the Army, Uncle Sam informed me today that I would be going to Korea for 12 months beginning in September. Not a happy camper... My questions is, how should I prep my Spyder for a year long hibernation? It will stay in my...

    Cruise Control

Have you had your bike laser aligned? My Spyder felt like it was all over the place, especially in wind driving at speed. Once I got an alignment, it all went away.

Break down: Can-am Spyder in California

Is it common for a dealer to refuse to service a CanAm if there are aftermarket parts? I haven't had to have any maintenance (other that 3K service). So if you have lights installed they wont fix your bike? Something don't add up there for me.

victory motorcycle going out of business

They are nice looking bikes. I was at a rest stop on my Spyder over the summer and was admiring a riders Victory. He told me that if I was thinking of getting a two wheel motorcycle (I wasn't, just admiring), to get an Indian because Polaris would stop making the Victory in a year or two. I...

10th Anniversary of the Spyder June 2,3,4th 2017

I thought I read somewhere it was limited to 2000. I could be wrong, but I remember that number for some reason.

Spyder Tech School last days "full version"

I'm sure Lamont has forgotten more about the Spyder than I will ever have knowledge of. That's why I tend to leave my maintenance to the experts like him

    Homecoming Agenda email from BRP

I am up for doing some rides. I have never been to that part of Canada (only the Calgary and Medicine Hat). If you are up for someone tagging along on one of your rides, I would love to explore the area.

    F3T and Limited windshield options

I was worried about the tint darkness when I bought the 25" since I would be looking through it. It is actually the perfect level of tint that provides some eye protection during the day, but does not black you out at night. I also have A LOT of lights up front (LED headlights, fog lights with...

Baja Ron Bar or Sway Bar for the F3

I do not have a swaybar. I thought about buying one because of the way my F3-T handled. When at Spyderfest last year, Squared Away did my alignment and it was like a new bike. I'm not saying do not get the swaybar, but from my experience I recommend getting the alignment first and then determine...

East Coast Posse Sponsored Events 2017

For me and David it will be two. I'm thinking of staying in Saratoga Springs for the night. You guys can come hang with David and I on day 1 or link up on day 2. I'm fine sharing my room, so that won't be an issue. Day 2, we can swing through Vermont and pick up Deanna and head up.
