• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Good morning my hello Can-Am riders

Find someone with a ST-Ltd, the AM/FM radio is standard on the Ltd to see/listen as to how good it is. I have a '13 STS and the speaker grills are in place, just nothing behind them. It should fit with no problem.

    slipping from 1st to 2nd

:spyder: Yup! Mine does that when I try to shift when the RPM's are too low, below 5,500 RPM. Especially if the engine is still cold, or not up to operating temperature yet. I read, I think it was in the "Dos and Don'ts of a New Spider Owner" for the 998 engine, when shifting, have your RPM's...

Summer Jacket Thoughts and Other Gear

:agree: Like Bob said, MESH. If you believe in staying protected even during HOT weather a mesh jacket is probably your best bet. I have a Fieldsheer Mesh jacket that has the waterproof removable liner. You may want less windshield in hot weather to increase your airflow. I ride a '13 STS that...

Need advise on problems with new spyder

2014 ST had Fox shocks standard equipment, should be warranty. I agree with Chupaca, Up shifts should not be happening, now if you are going very slow, say around a sharp turn it will down shift on its own. Up shifts should only occur when you bump the paddle. My brakes squeak sometimes at low...

    Fox Shocks and Sway Bar

I have a '13 STS and front shocks are not adjustable, Fox shocks became standard equipment for 2014 and above. I put the BajaRon bar and billet joints on and got a Laser Alignment, it fixed all my handling issues. I do not ride easy, I will charge through twisty turns as hard as I can whenever...

Yes, electronics by Lucas! Remember Lucas all too well, and the tragedy wasn't just with the motorcycles, it was all British Leland products. A daylight nightmare in the rain!!!

Happens all the time to me!!! Went to the Pharmacy to pick up a Rx for my Better Half, 8 mile round trip. Stopped by a friends house to see how his tree house was coming (he is only 80). Got back home a couple of hours later and had put 80 miles on the Spyder. Funny how that...
