• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Crap, just read that the cluster has to be matched to the ECM which is done thru BUDS of course!!!! Could change myself in 20 minutes but have looked up the part #710001389 and it is about $700.00 US.

    Analog tach not working right

I really like the analog tach a lot easier to see (eyes aren't so good any more). The thing that scares me is...is the whole display going to take a crap and leave me stranded or would you still be able to drive without the display? Trip I have been planning for 5 months coming up real quick...

    Analog tach not working right

This is not the fuel or temp gauge (got those disconnected already), this is the analog tach which is part of the main cluster and it does not look easy to remove. Off to the dealer.

    Analog tach not working right

So this will leave a person stranded then? That is great! This is then a safety factor and should be a recall! Sorry what is the ACS?

    Analog tach not working right

I don't have a problem with parts going on a vehicle, it happens to every builder. What I do have a problem with is when a problem like this happens over and over and over that the builder knows about it but does nothing about it!!! I am supposed to be leaving on a 5000 km trip in less than...

    Analog tach not working right

Three times I have seen this happen where the analog tachometer is reading incorrect or not at all. The digital read out is reading correct, two times I stopped the bike and shut the key off and when I started it the needle did the sweep and was correct again. Yesterday when it did not work...

My Spyder has me feeling less than warm and fuzzy

Not that hot where I live, but I wonder if a spray on insulation on the fuel tank would help prevent fuel boiling. Should be easy enough to do, Just a thought.

$300.00 WOW oil sending unit cost me $13.49 in fact cost more for shipping than the switch. 2010 were known to have bad oil switches. Here is a link to my experience. http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?49540-Help!-Honey-Moon-Over&p=596775#post596775

    Speed Limit in Reverse?

I had a Can Am Quad and it had a limiter, but also had a disable button that had to be depressed. Spyder might have the limiter too.

    RT Driver Pegs

On the Seals you don't actually remove the peg you just remove the rubber pad, and the rest of the peg is used for mounting the floorboards. Maybe RIVCO are the same.

Have you had to replace Vacuum Hoses

I have the 2010 RT and am going on a 10 day ride and want to have these hoses with me. What length of hose, what diameter (ID or OD) and is there a silicone type hose that would be more tolerant to heat?
