• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT Driver Pegs

I ordered a set of the new RIVCO driver floorboards a while back which won't be here for a few weeks. When looking at my 2012 RT SE5 it looks as if it is going to be a bit of a project to get the right side peg off and the new floorboard installed. RIVCO does not have instructions available yet. Has anyone removed/replaced their driver pegs and is it as big of a project as it appears it may be ?

On the Seals you don't actually remove the peg you just remove the rubber pad, and the rest of the peg is used for mounting the floorboards. Maybe RIVCO are the same.

:agree:. I also asked Rivco for the mounting instructions for their new RT Driver Floorboards and was told the same thing. The foot brake linkage seems to be in the way of getting to the Torx screw but it appears the bolt head is held from turning by a metal piece. I don't know if the Rivco boards use the stock peg mounting hardware or not. If not and the bolts have to be removed then we may have a problem, especially with the right peg bolt. BTW the bolt head/nut is 15MM. My set of metric wrenches doesn't include a 15MM wrench...guess I need to go shopping!

I'm really hoping the install of the Rivco boards is not going to be as difficult as you and I envision by looking at the way the stock pegs are installed. Good luck with the install when you get your new boards.

The Rivco floorboards, from the picture displayed on their website, should mount pretty well the same way as the ISCI floorboards. Prior to purchasing the ISCI boards a few years back I went to their site and downloaded the instructions. I did a dry run on removing the foot pegs just to make sure that when I did a parking lot install at Spyderfest I would have the right tools for the job.

Here is a link to the instructions I downloaded back in the day to help me with my planning for the install. http://www.isciride.com/INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPY-RT-FB.docx

That is exactly the information I was looking for. Thanks.

Got floor boards from web-boards.net and installed in less than an hour on two Spyders. Best money I have spent on a mods to date.

In looking at the Rivco site it looks like the mounts have a drop built into them which lowers the footrest in relation to the brake pedal. Looks to me like it replaces the existing peg mount.
