• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Some think I'm crazy

I can say I dont think I am gonna dare the snow and ice. i actually worry about getting creamed by some other yutz more than sliding off the road in those conditions. But rain and cold NOOO Problem..well cold to a degree anyway. i dont think I am gonna do anything 'ridicoulous" LOL

Blog- Compairing the RT to the RS

Trailering To clarify as far as trailering goes I meant to and from a dealership for service mostly in my post. I have never trailered a bike anywhere while traveling either, although I dont hold it against anyone if thats what they do. Ideal trailer for me is one I could pull behind my spyder...

    Some think I'm crazy

I rode mine in the same rain you road yours in only a few hours earlier LOL. I dont mind rinding the spyder in the rain AT ALL. It is VASTLY superior to ANY two wheeled vehicle in that instance for sure. My legs usually barely get wet when riding even in a pretty good shower. the rest of the...

Can I Really Afford a Spyder?

I said the FIRST service should be figured in the price not ALLL the services. I bought three Harleys in twelve years, never paid for the first service. While I am smart enough to know that that service was probably figured into the price of the vehicle the dealers were smart enough to know that...

Can I Really Afford a Spyder?

Cost of Ownership I will start by saying I really enjoy my spyder and plan to keep it. BUT it is expensive to maintain comapred to some bikes and not as expensive compared to others. I will say I have been unhappy with the cost to maintain it. EG once you buy it unless you buy a maintenance...

Blog- Compairing the RT to the RS

I have said it before and Ill say it again here. While the RT is a step in the right direction and fills a definite need, I also think there are a great many of us who would like a cruiser type spyder. One with parts that are quick disconnect, bags, floorboards, tall windshield, upright seating...

Audible click when braking to a stop.

I wouldnt blow it out of proportion yet. I am not sure there is even a problem with the click sound. As long as you dont notice any problmes with your braking I wouldnt be overly concerned

    Phantom limited edition number

Again you can make any spyder look like a phantom. However from a collectors satndpoint it appears the a19n indicates it is a phantom. Least thats what I understand. I bought the phantom becasue of the color, fog lights and rims whihc if purcashed seperately would add up to a lot more than the...

    Enough is ENOUGH

"hope the work is done properly, suck it up and move on"...wow now you know why i wont ever let a "tech" work on my bike unless I cant!

    Enough is ENOUGH

1" in riser Its not th e installation of the riser, its removing (mostly) the bolts that hold the cover on, and on a side note I can recognize that working on these bikes IS difficult. Just lubing the front chasis can be very difficult especially if you dont want to remove the tire. Still two...
