• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Time for reflection???

All good thoughts and ideas. There is a major difference - when you were in the gov't role you are in a buyer / seller relationship with a huge power/influence difference from the peer to peer relationships on SL. I think it's right to give feedback, style is critical.

    hats off to Arctic Adventure

I second, third or whatever that - they are great folks to deal with. Friendly, honest, and competent with the customers interest at heart. I've since moved to TN and miss dealing with The folks at AA.

Location of GPS NAV input for F3-T radio (cross-post)

If you're looking for hookup of the gps audio into the radio - and the location is same as my 2014 RTS, look on right side near edge of fuel tank. You'll have to remove some Tupperware.

    Big City Thunder Baffle

BCT baffle direction Just a note about the direction the baffle should face when installed in the bypass pipe: I was advised by BCT to install the baffle with the point of the cone facing toward the engine. Your pic is showing the opposite direction - though I know the pic is not an install...

Where is the GPS Plug? What connector fits?

Not sure if the 2011 is the same as my 2014 RTS, look at the rear of the gas tank under the seat on the flanged tank seam. Mine had the audio connector there that I could plug an audio cable from my Zumo 550 into and thus get GPS instructions from my 550 thru the audio system. If I recall...

    Laser Align

2014 RTS right on I had exactly the same experience with Netzley, alignment was right on so he didnt charge. Then since I was there and had some extra cash - they did the Bajaron sway bar - big difference in cornering IMO. Great folks!

    Baja-Ron Sway Bar

Just had the Bajaron anti-sway bar installed by Netzley Tire (Ron Netzley) here in NY on my 2014 RTS. He only charged one hour and seeing the lifting, etc involved I was happy to have it installed by him! The improvement in performance is excellent. Had laser alignment done and it was spot-on...

    Cat Bypass Pitbull vs SpyderAttitude

I'm considering installing a cat bypass on my 2014 RTS to reduce heat and possibly improve sound. Appears to be 3 potential sources though JT isn't listing one for sale yet. Who is using Pitbull or SpyderAttitude and what are your preferences? The technical difference seems to be material...

    Gerbings hook up?

Wattge calculation To figure wattage, multiply amps x volts (12 for Spyder). So 7.5 amp fuse x 12 volts = 90 watts (just what your jacket consumes). You can increase amperage of the fuse - BUT you must not exceed the capacity of the wire providing power or you risk overheating the wiring...

BRP Satellite Radio Kit Installation / Entertainment Harness Questions

GPS on 2014 RTS Thanks Steve for your help on the phone and photos. Found the 2 pin Delphi connector for GPS power and the audio female connector right at the right rear top corner of the gas tank - just like you said. Gets confusing as the changes from year to year and model to model. In...

BRP Satellite Radio Kit Installation / Entertainment Harness Questions

2014 RTS GPS installation Thanks for all of the great info. I am installing my Zumo 550 I've had for years on my 2014 RTS. I purchased the GPS harness kit 710002182 and can't find the mating connector near the radio. Does the 2014 use this harness? I do see the audio connector near the fuel tank.

    Using a non-BRP GPS Part 1

GPS Wiring Nice writeup... I'm in process of doing a few mods to my 2014 RTS. I'm new to spyder - so not sure where to find the connector that I plug the GPS harness #710002182 into? I have the CB installed and the entertainment harness installed. Thanks for your help.

    To Lift the Roadster

Size of boxes I really like the design and am going to build the same to use with my two post lift. When you say the rear box is 12" x !2" - does that mean after you put in the two inside braces - giving you approx. 3 12 x 12 boxes - thus the full size of the rear section is approx. 12" x 36"...
