• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My new spyder lift table from Redline Engineering

Really wish one of these vendors would design the lift so the ramps can go on either end. That way you could drive the Spyder on rather than backing. In our garage, the lift will need to do double duty as a normal parking space so backing on all the time is not going to happen.

:agree: This is my only complaint about my Handy lift. backing on is a PIA. I looked hard at the Redline lifts before I settled on the Handy B.O.B. lift.

Quasar Products LTD: Big Blue, has any heard about this lift?

Saw this lift on youtube a couple weeks ago. Searched but haven't been able to get a price or anymore information. Looks very promising.

Could you please delete this thread before my husband sees it? :roflblack: He wants one and I don't.

Yea Ann but Joe is the guy who does the work under the Spyder, remember.

Hope to see you in Durango. Knee is healing slowly and is a bit painful. Getting a little better though each day. 25 days since surgery.

Got the Trunk Lights from Custom Dynamics last night. Waiting on the Ron Bar which is on back order.

Sorry for the Hi-Jack.

Yeah I looked at several of lifts like this and actually bought another brand one but don't feel comfortable under the spyder with one of these lifts holding a 1000 machine.

After a few times backing this on it isn't a big problem but I am going to check with Redline about getting the extensions for the back sides which should be an issue so then I could also pull it on.

Let us know what you find out. i emailed Redline and they told me no, it could only be backed on.

Ron,

Who is making this lift you are talking about?
Can't really say much about it yet, but it is coming out of my son's tire shop and I am helping him develop it. The proto-type is basically done and it makes everything way easier to do. It really has been designed for the professional mechanic that needs to do everything spyder right on this rack, from an oil to tire changes to alignments. And for those that need to drive on, yes you do. Still working on some options.

:2thumbs: I may have to take a ride over... :D

Big Blue seems to allow excellent access to the underside to do just about anything. The others block access, so I don't see the platform lifts mechanic friendly, other than working on tires and side access.
