• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Congrats on your coming :spyder2: trip. Ditto on 'your own ryde' and 'turn signals'. I add when slowing (which the Spyder does VERY well just backing off the throttle) a bit of pressure on the brake pedal (to hit the brake lights) is a good idea also, especially if someone is following close.

    Noticed this years back. True on most bikes with shields. Helmets can be worse. So, when riding or ryding, no polarized glasses - tinted, only.

    The instructions included were complete, including great pix. The throttle connection is quite complex-looking, but went as illustrated. Just took time. The most difficulty I had was the clutch switch connection, which is way down in front below the headlights (yes, the console comes off)...

    +1 what Scotty said. Also a note that helmets differ - one brand fits in XL, another might require XXL. If you are going for sound (ear speakers) make sure they will fit next to your ears! Happy shopping!!

    www.mccruise.com I installed on ours. Added the vacuum can that smoothed it out quite a bit. Very happy with the unit. Yes, much more than the Audiovox, also much more sophisticated. Flawless in operation!! Works as well as the factory unit on my BMW!
