• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Feel free. We used that picture in our announcement and made the announcement out to be an old west "wanted" poster...Was pretty funny.

Thank you everyone.

I was invited to speak at the hospital tonight at a monthly dinner they hold for parents with babies fresh in the NICU. Brought back a lot a memories as I told Leah's story and reinforced to them that it is ok to be freaked out, and that everything is going to be ok. Listening to their stories in turn really choked me up. They are only 1 day to 3 weeks into their baby's stay there and were very emotional. Leah had a cake walk with her stay compared to a couple of babies I heard of tonight.

By the way... Not sure we have the final billing... but the big one so far was for $250,000 to my insurance company... I so far only had to pay a $750 deductible for Leah, and $1100 total for my wife's stay which was $60,000. Still waiting for some bills to be flushed out, but so far both insurance companies have been really great ( My insurance changed Jan1 with new job ).

We'll be walking with Leah in Charlotte's March of Dimes walk coming April 30th with our NICU nurses. Should be fun.

Thanks for the update Dan. The pictures and videos are great, and I am very happy to hear that she is doing so well.

Also glad to hear the financial burden on you might not be too terribly bad, all things considered. You are doing the right thing by going on the MOD walk, best of luck with all of those activities.

:2thumbs::2thumbs: Awesome! SO glad Leah and your wife are doing well. I enjoyed the videos and pictures you posted. We will continue our prayers for good health for the family and thanksgiving for the insurance. The people you are speaking with and sharing your experiences with are truly being blessed by you and your family.
