• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    There were a number of "Test Pilots" for the BRP heat fix in January that had the reversing radiator mod done as part of it. I remember reading at the end of the test they had a choice of returning to stock or keeping the changes. You may have gotten one of those bikes. :thumbup:

    And that is why you make it a recall and not a TSB. Not knowing which ones will fail and when is reason to replace them all. Having your bike die in the wrong neighborhood could lead to very bad things :yikes:

    TSB's for any other vehicle on the road can be had. When is BRP going to grow up and keep their customers in the loop. They should be available for owners on their web site. We all know most of the dealers do not.

    As far as I know it was relocated up away from the header and the fuel system return was deleted. I would be nice to see some naked pictures of it. :thumbup:

    Looks like those of us who stuck it out and fought the good fight may have the best of the V-Twin RT's now. :thumbup: I just could not justify taking a beating on trade in for a 1330 simply because BRP missed the bus. I like toys but don't like giving money for another one to the same company...

    Due to family issues and 100+ local temps ( I do not ride in those) and rain I haven't gotten a lot of miles riding since the recall was done. I finally finished my first full tank and am pleased to report the MPG I got from it was 30.5 mpg. On a good day prior to the recall I was getting 26mpg...

    Advantage of Vented Windshield?

    Sorta The vents in the stock are low and do not provide much more than pressure relief. Most reports seems to say the upper vented BRP ( you will lose the lower holes) are not much, if any, improvement. The best of both worlds would be one with both IMHO.
