• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brand new '13 RT purchased in April, '15! he header

WasWinger. I cut a hole in the same area and used the block off plate. A question though. If you removed that bottom panel, where did they put the new location of the charcoal canister? (after the recall work) Mine is attatched to to that bottom panel, just under where the hole was cut. Which brings up another question. Will the heat from the fan blowing on the new location of the charcoal canister effect anything? The dealer told me they relocated it because it was too close to a heat source. Great pics and work by the way. It looks good! Same color RT as mine.
I took the bottom panels with the bike and the tech reinstalled the right one but not the left one. I haven't taken the time to really look to see what's happening with the air flow to the bottom side. I do feel a little bit of heat on my foot when it's on the driver foot peg, but I guess not enough to make me remember to check it out.

Okay. I am getting educated here. The dealer told me that was a relocated canister. This is some awesome information here. Interesting...... Thanks to everyone!!!

As far as I know it was relocated up away from the header and the fuel system return was deleted. I would be nice to see some naked pictures of it.

I just reviewed the the PDF of the recall work. That device attatched to the bottom right plate is indeed a pre filter which is coming from the replaced charcoal canister. Still getting fuel vapors after riding home from work 11 miles in a dashboard indicating 98- 100 degrees in mixed traffic! NOT HAPPY.....Will be taking a trip next weekend. Then the dealer will be hearing from me. It seems that when the gas tank gets to about a 1/4 is when the vapors are really strong. I am not really smelling vapors when the fuel is above that level.
