• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Several Questions

Living in Florida and being out where I live we have quite a few shell/gravel roads. The Spyder handles fine on them as long as you hold a steady speed and do gradual accelerations. Now when I goose it she'll start to get sideways and then the traction control comes on.:2thumbs:

    Corbin Pacific for Sale?

I had suspected that's what you meant. :opps: I just don't get to hear too many people use the word "rig" anymore.

    Corbin Pacific for Sale?

Well according to the poster on the other forum who tested their Spyder products for them, yes they are officially for sale. This is for all of Corbin including Ormond Beach, apparently it's the business and not the real estate which would make me believe they don't own the properties. He also...

    SpyderLovers Meet in Daytona!-Updated

Actually this year has been unseasonably cool for us. Of course it should still seem like a heat wave to you.:) Coldest I've had to ride in this year was 28 degrees. If the weather we've been having lately hangs around then it's going to be excellent for bikeweek.

    Good Morning SpyderLovers

    GIVI Bags Installation

I'm not sure the Givi would work with the 2 brothers dual setup. You'll probably want to get a good look at a Spyder that has the Givi bags on them.

    Raise'n Heli...MEN INCREASE YOUR RISER BY 4.5"

    Only on certain bikes.......:yikes:

    GIVI Bags

I did the black bags also with my yellow spyder. Saves a bit of money and I ended up really liking the way it looks. Also since I really like Givi bags it allows me to switch them between my Spyder and V-strom so I save money on not having to have different sets of luggage.

    Corbin Pacific for Sale?

Here's the thing about aftermarket accessories, they do not inherently increase the value of you bike. While they may add value to you any potential buyer may not see any value in them, especially if they don't like the accessories you've added. If you put your current bike up for sale and don't...

    Corbin Pacific for Sale?

Well if it is true I hope the new owner improves price and most importantly their customer service.

IMO they make the Spyder look ridiculous. :barf:

    GIVI Bags Installation

Only way to adjust the rear shock is by doing it just like the owners manual tells you. Chock the front wheels, jack up the rear, and use a ratchet with an extension to adjust the shock. Spray some lube on the shock before you adjust it, it turns a whole lot easier with the lube.

    Gel_Air Cushions ????

The stock Spyder seat is plenty comfortable for me. My V-strom is a different story after a couple hundred miles the rear end is screaming.

Spyder Blue Book value is out

Yep, that's right about what the dealer offered me a couple weeks ago when I was looking at getting away from the Spyder.

    Gel_Air Cushions ????

I've always been told the Airhawk is the best way to go. You can adjust to your liking and the idea is that you're taking away the pressure points. With gel pads you're still sitting on the pressure points, it just may take longer to feel the effect. Forest, they have the airhawk at JP Cycles...

    Transporting Spyder Question

Most dealers will pick bikes up, some charge a fee for this service but it's still worth asking them. If not check with your insurance, most insurances will cover a tow or will reimburse for it. Geico has reimbursed me when I needed a tow for a motorcycle.
