• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Corbin Pacific for Sale?

Corbin 4 Sale??

I haven't bought a Spyder yet, although I demoed an SM5 last September. My concern is that my present ride has Corbin saddlebags & trunk, which cost $3K new. I just wonder if they will have any added value to my bike when I sell or trade it in. The depreciation and this poor economy will no doubt negatively affect my bike's value badly enough. D. Reinhard, Ohio

Here's the thing about aftermarket accessories, they do not inherently increase the value of you bike. While they may add value to you any potential buyer may not see any value in them, especially if they don't like the accessories you've added. If you put your current bike up for sale and don't find a buyer that feels like they want to pay you more for the Corbin accessories you've added then remove them and sell them on their own. You'll probably do better to sell them separate like that any way.

Interesting items re Corbin... but you may need to re-think the 30K for the TriGlide, out of the shop its going to be more like 40K by the time you have taxes, delivery, extended warranty and thats before you add any comfort items and the reverse (extra). The Triglide is not automatic so why compare it to the SE5, go for the SM5 it is more fun and dose not have the associated issues of the not quite ready for prime time SE5.

I got the Corbin seats first and then I added the trunk later. The stock BRP seat cowl will not fit the Corbin rear seat very good. The good news is the trunk has a small backrest built into and now that it's painted black is should look pretty good on there. :doorag:

uh dammit, the lightbulb just went on.....seat is one piece which is why they can't just customize a front seat for me, has to be both:opps::shocked:
 
Well according to the poster on the other forum who tested their Spyder products for them, yes they are officially for sale. This is for all of Corbin including Ormond Beach, apparently it's the business and not the real estate which would make me believe they don't own the properties.

He also noted that Corbin won't be touring this year. Specifically said they won't be in Gatlinburg.
 
Resale & Corbin Accessories

Yeah, that would be better to just remove the Corbin stuff & sell seperately. I did keep my stock seats & pipes. Around here in Ohio bikes don't start selling well until April due to Old Man Winter. It's late February, so it won't be long. D. Reinhard, Ohio
