• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Engine heat?

Depends.... :agree: there were design flaws but the aftermarket guys came up with cures. Most were with the early model V-twins. New models have no issues other than the normal being outside in the heat....

    RT steering issue

Little checking..... Start by checking tire air pressure and keep in mind the RT is somewhat heavier than the F3. DPS failure generally will give lights and codes possibly have some codes stored and can check with BUDS. Start with the air pressure as tire type (car/motorcycle) do run on...

2018 how do I check code check engine light is on

Bummer..... if you shut the engine off with the key and not the kill switch you may no longer find any codes as they may have gone into storage and can only be retrieved with the BUDS system. If you have the light on start the engine for a bit shut it down and remove the key and let the...

    998cc How much oil???

Lets see.... First off start engine and get it to the operating temp.... or take a ryde and then check the oil level. Add a little at a time and re-check till you are at or close to full. These engines use oil and you should check it every 500 miles or so till you can determine how much yours...

    998cc Stuck in 3rd gear

Couple.... First check to see (left side engine) if the shifting arm is loose on the shift shaft. Many have come loose and will no longer shift. Other problems would be the paddle shifter or the actuators. You can manually shift using a wrench on the shaft....: this can get you in a better...

    Orange Screen and Sticky Brake?

Interesting....🤔 From your profile I see it is a 2015 so brembo brakes. Don't know what work has been done brake wise, if any but a full fluid change and disc and caliper clean would be a good place to start. If this occurs at start up if you could raise the spyder and see which brake is...

    Up date on k&n

Curious...🤔 Looking at the parts list on cheapcycleparts.com it is a bit hard to understand where the holes were made. The ( what is called the air intake silencer) has three parts. the box, filter and cover. Over the cover is the body panel. Any hole made in the box would bypass the air filter...
