• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ryding 3-up with a new "Best Friend"

Kiddo started out riding on the back of our RS when she was 6 months old. After we liquidated and purchased our RT, we did get one of the Inspectors trunk racks and a T-bag dog carrier. The three of us traveled from WA to Upper MI and back last year. She rarely rides inside..she prefers...

You heard it here first- BRP Owners Event 2012

We have been on two lengthy tours. Once on separate machines, and last year riding two(or I should say 3, including our pooch Kiddo)up,dragging a small tent camper. Last year we maxed out at a bit over 400 miles in a day. That was more than enough for us, and we are in the same age group as you...

Ready to buy a Spyder, please help.

Congrats on your new Spyder! Make sure to follow the procedure on checking the oil as described in the owners manual. It is very different than checking the oil in your car! If you check it while it is cold before starting it, I can guarantee you that you will over fill it! (no need to ask why I...

    Teddy's New Adventures

DirtyDog! We can relate. Kiddo snuck under the fence and got in with the cows in the pasture next door. They chased her back into the yard, but she had acquired a unique *aroma* from running thru their "pies".:yikes: Had to scrub her little feetsies before she could even venture in the house...

New (to us) Truck. 03 Lariat

Well, they book at up to 17K. I got this for 14.3K The Ford stealers..oops, I mean dealers have a computer system called OASIS. It's a history of the truck that is a bit more thorough than a CarFax as far as trips to the dealer are concerned. This one had an axle replaced. Nothing to do with...

New Powdercoated Rack from the InspectorGadget!

We only put our Kiddo pooch plus her carrier onto the rack.. She weighs 9 lbs and the carrier may weigh..possibly 4 lbs. So 13-14 lbs tops. The lid stays up with no problem with the rack installed. I m not sure what you mean about *how much does it move*. The rack itself is bolted solidly to...

    Teddy's New Adventures

We had hoped to get to Spyderfest, but, alas, we will be moving during the first week of May, so that is a no-go. But, let us know your route to California..we are moving to the middle of OR (Roseburg) and will be much more CA accessible. We have not made any plans on the summer as of yet. Kind...

New Powdercoated Rack from the InspectorGadget!

I "was" the proud owner of RL's second ever RT rack produced. Recently he sent me a "RTRack V.2.0" upgrade, powercoated version. The one I had previously was painted black..the new one is powercoated silver. Last summer we had the V.1.0 with our KiddoHuT strapped to it. We traveled around 5K...

Howling coming from rear wheel well

80 bucks for one set of pads seems quite steep. I paid that for all three sets (two front sets and one rear). Changing brake pads is a fairly easy procedure. I m sure there is info on here somewhere about doing it. I did it on our 08 RS with no trouble.
