• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1330 and Gas Mileage Review - What's yours? Anyone else tracking theirs?

My 2014 RTL average is 36-38 mpgs. About the same mpg as our 2017 Ford Escape. Our rides are 2 UP 95% of the time, and generally keep the speed between 55-65 on our 2 lane roads here. Lots of small towns around us, so we fill up before we leave our area. Too many close calls for needing a...

Sorry Ex-Rocket........I had thought I started a NEW thread, but apparently that's not the case. My bad! Yep, I'm aware that dealers wont oblige with this therefore my reaching out to forum members here. I had seen other member postings regarding disabling their DESS with their BUDS, and who...

Anyone doing DESS disabling in Missouri Kansas City area?

I know this ugly subject has been brought up many times. So here we go again. Recently I have been getting the dreaded DESS on my 2014RTL am looking to disable it. I know Lamonster and Bajaron can provide this service, but was looking for someone closer to Southern Illinois, if it's at all...

    RT Limited dark vs chrome

:agree: I'm with you on this one. I AM old school , so like a bit of shine. Takes only but a moment to re-shine it back up after a ride. It's gotta look purdy........and it turns heads at the same time! ;) Also had to keep my Beauty Rings on my 65 & 69 Chevelles "polished" as well. It...

    Mesh jacket recommendations

I just recently purchased 2 of these Mesh Jackets. Yellow and Silver Jackets. I was impressed. Very good quality, light weight, not bulky, with protective Armor placed throughout the jacket. Has a liner for cooler / winter wearing which is removable. Great Air flow throughout the jacket, which...

So, what do y'all consider "touring"?

The word "Touring", as I define it, means I'm going on a Road Trip. And, when on my "Road Trips", I take in "Sight-Seeing" along the way. I am just too simple for my own good!

Anyone had the ACS Air compressor replaced?

Another Spyder rider, on a different forum, had stated that after removing all the necessary Tupperware, it took him approximately 2 1/2 hours to complete his ACS with Bag changeout. And that was also replacing the rear shock.

Is this 2011 Spyder RT with 12000 miles worth it?

Probably the only reason, and IMO only, I would think the owner is Overseas and their Spyder is being sold "locally" would be if the person is an enlisted individual. Still, I would approach this sale with much hesitation. Unless you can obtain PROOF, and VERIFY all information is legit and...

Has anyone ever had this happen after installing Magic Mirrors?

Thanks all, for the feedback! Especially those of you who have been riding long enough to "unfortunately" encounter these problems, and are able to share your experiences, and fixes, with us late comers. A tremendous help for sure.  Rick

Has anyone ever had this happen after installing Magic Mirrors?

This is a posting from another person, from a different venue, discussing Magic Mirrors, that I found interesting, and my curiosity brings me here to ask my fellow SL's. What do you think? Has this happened to any of you? His comment reads; Just a bit of info for y’all. I have a 2010 rt...

Do you ever park your Ryker in a parking lot or does it depend on ??

Funny, I was once that guy you speak of, standing and admiring, AND waiting for the owner to come out of Walmart as well. I recall it was a beautiful Cognac colored one. The Spyder belonged to his wife. I was wanting to ask so many questions before even considering buying one. The gentlemen was...

Do you ever park your Ryker in a parking lot or does it depend on ??

I can't speak on behalf of the Ryker, although I do seem to draw quite a bit of attention from onlookers / inquisitors ( whom I love talking to ) with my Spyder Rt and it's Graphics when I go shopping, or just out and about. And seeing I'm usually away longer than 5 minutes, as I always run into...

What other Coolant colors work for F3's?

Just did a coolant change out 11 days ago. Old coolant was Orange, so therefore used the GM Dexcool Orange also. Seems to be the only color, besides green, that we have in our area. And yes, our Coolant / Anti-freeze is one in the same here as well.
