• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Our 2020 RTL doesn't sound *that* bad. For example, more like a "regular" car and less like a classic Volkswagen. My wife is very sensitive to sharp noises and doesn't mind the RTL exhaust.

    Indeed it has been fixed. The article we both remember (I'm showing my age) pertained to stretching the abilities of natural petroleum oil. Most of us Spyder Lovers run full-synthetic oils which have powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal lubricants.

    We had exactly the same problem after an air bag collapse. Usual symptom is an extremely harsh ride where you can feel every little bump. Think old-time Harley before they grew springs.

    Please watch the left plastic panels at the bottom near the floorboard. There is a plastic pin there just itching to break. Also both sides at the extreme front the plastic is pinned to the chassis using a pin with a fake Philips screw in it. It is NOT the same size as all the other pins.

    We presently have an Elka Stage 2 rear shock as well as the air bag. Riding two-up with 600 pounds of driver plus passenger aboard works fine. My wife reports good results riding solo. So I guess the combination works.

    You could get air temp from the Spyder and MPH from your GPS.

    2022 RTL rear air suspension leaking air - is this common? Any fix/ideas?

    Unfortunately the soap test is not reliable. We had a push-on fitting that would go from fully sealed to fully open without warning. Some folks have advocated replacing all the air line fittings with the superior ones available from McMaster-Carr.
