• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Panel removal on a 2020 RT Ltd.

I posted this a few weeks ago based on the instructions from Jetfixer here and Lamonster doing my GPS wiring: https://youtu.be/YGLGiz7Ho9g I am NOT an expert by any means, but am not afraid to learn from them. It explains taking the side panels off the 2020 RTL. You may have to pause it to read...

Hey all you 2020 RTL Owners........

2020 rt I had a 2011 for about 9 years and just traded it in for a 2020. Had it about 2 months now and 3,000 miles. My wife has a 2010 (and is hinting strongly to upgrade to the 2020). Besides some of the things others have said, noticeable differences from my 2011: Smoother ride - factory...

Road trip to Blue Ridge Parkway-suggestions

As ULFLYER had suggested, Boone, also Blowing Rock, & Lake Lure (is not too far off the path). Boone is a nice pocket community with a few big box stores. Right down the road is Blowing Rock (and ON the BRP): very artsy, smaller. South of those is Grandfather Mountain. Very scenic. There is a...

    Another windshield question

Hey Don, I'm glad you cleared that up. I really think I need a new/different windshield. The original OEM is generating a great deal of wind noise/roaring through the holes on my 2020 RTL. I covered them and it got much quieter. When I removed the covers, the noise came back. I am looking at...

    Another windshield question

That's interesting. The guys there said it wouldn't, but you are the second person I've heard that says their F4 does fit.

    Another windshield question

I just spoke with Slingmods and they don't have a 2020 windshield. The F4 doesn't currently work for the 2020. I thought that was the one!

    Another windshield question

I cut out pieces of cardboard just slightly larger than the holes. I used electrical tape (only on the windshield). Took it for a test ride and it is definitely the holes that causing all the wind noise. I rode for about 15 minutes at 70mph and then took the cardboard off and rode the same way...

    Another windshield question

Wind noise from winshield The tape thing is something I have been thinking about. I just couldn't figure out a way to do it that wasn't "jakey" looking. But you're right, I should try that before spending some serious cash that may, or may not, fix the problem. I might try some blue painter's...

I had the same question with my new 2020 and with some help from Jetfixer, here on Spyder Lovers (see the link in the video), and some wiring help from Lamonster was able to (watch him) fix it. (NOTE: I am NOT an expert. I just know guys who are.) I created a little video to help others out with...

    Another windshield question

I have another question and I am hoping someone here can help me out. I had a 2011 RT with the unvented windshield. I just traded it in for a 2020 RT LTD. (Looove it!) Except... there is HUGE amount of windnoise. Way more so than the 2011. I have figured it out (I think). The 2011 had an...

    Hard wiring a GPS

Zumo XT Nav Audio via Bluetooth I have a 2020 Can-AM RT and just bought a Garmin Zumo XT. Bluetooth audio for music is awesome. Question: The navigation audio doesn't go through the bluetoothed speakers on the Can-am. Is this possible? It used to on my old Can-Am and Zumo660. It would...

    Spyder Seat Repair

After 8 years, my Spyder seat started to show some wear and tear. Just minor rips along the seams. At the recommendation of Daytona Fun Machines and even other people in the area, I took it to Precision Boat Top & Upholstery (386) 295-8428‬) at 412 Grant Street in Port Orange, Florida. They did...

    Glo-Rider wheel lights

Glo Ryder is ON all the time Typically the battery on ours last about a month. I tried finding the internal generator ones, but Glo Ryder said that they didn't get enough crowd funding, so they scrapped it. (I have a personal problem with the public paying for their R&D or retooling. This is...
