• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front Sprocket Recall - Interim Repair Completed

It WILL need to be removed as part of the recall in the fall. BRP will not cover the additional costs of broken shafts from removal of incorrectly installed sprockets.

They do not remove the sprocket or moly lube the shaft as part of the interim inspection. Only if a sprocket must be replaced do they remove it.

TricLed Sequential LED Turn Signals & Running Lights - Anyone else having issues??

This is why we had to drop TricLED as a vendor. Constant rework due to crap quality LEDs and wiring. Just could not afford to keep doing work over and over on customers bikes. And Tric began declining to cover products under warranty. We simply do not have these problems with LEDs from...

How many miles do you have on a recall pulley/sprocket?

Here is an interesting data point for the group. My 2015 original engine failed at 32k miles and was replaced with a May 2019 production date engine (2019 model year). Yet my bike is still included in the recall to get the new sprocket when it becomes available. The current engine now has 40k...

Installing Trailer hitch - avoiding obstruction in axle housing?

You will need to purchase an axle shaft for a 15 thru 21 F3. The 22s are coming like yours without the hollow axle. It's due to a parts supply issue for BRP that was preventing bikes from being built. Or you can swap yours with someone that has no need for a trailer.

What is MotoBatt 12V AGM Battery like for my F3?

Not a fan of the made in China Motobatt. Have seen too many fail in short term on our customers bikes. Stick with a made in USA Yuasa or if you do want to persue and upgrade, move up to the Odyssey which is also made in USA and built for a bit more longevity.

    Mesh jacket recommendations

I'm pretty partial to my Joe Rocket Phoenix mesh jacket. Silver, NOT BLACK Black absorbs heat, silver reflects it. Full mesh, no solid wind blocking sections top to bottom. I actually had one of the First gear jackets (silver not hi vis yellow) but gave it away as too hot as its about half...

    Difficulty with the reverse button

The position of the reverse push button was selected to try and force you to use your right hand for that button. Intentionally to keep your right hand OFF the throttle while shifting to reverse. The suggested sequence is Foot on the brake and hold. Right hand press and hold the R button...

What do you think - will changing rear tire AND bearings allow balancing?

Its really a shame so many service places do not have the right tools to balance the rear wheels. We do!

    Purchase red Master Key?

BRP shows the part is no longer available. You will have to use a shop that has one or watch for one to become available in the used market like ebay or here on Spyderlovers.

Part number is still correct but looking it up shows the part is no longer available. Perhaps keep an eye out for one to pop up on ebay. Mine is not for sale.

Looking for Laser Alignment near San Antonio Texas

Your dealer service department was making excuses for tools and training they do not have. NONE of the Spyders are properly aligned on the assembly line. NONE. A scant few manage to accidentally get it right but its very few. Out of hundreds I have done, have had 3 that were correct from the...
