• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Those with an Odyssey Battery

I would agree. Have used them in M/C Harley and BMW. Yuasa does not last as long in the heat here in Tucson but are still IMO a good product when the do not source out. Jack

    Trailering Front Attach

You are correct dlby. Never attach tie down straps to any suspension or cross tie the front rims. I probably have as much trailering both Spyder's and Motorcycles as any one on here due to physical limitations. Yep I have made as many mistakes (costly) as anyone also. Now if I could just...

    Itching for Texas

Starting to yearn and think of Spyder's In The Hills. Any news on this or dates? I'm planning my Fall Trips and do not want to miss this one ever! Have enjoyed all the previous gatherings. I hope some one stepped up to the plate and took this over. One of the best rallies ever! Jack

Dealer can't get parts from Canada

Contrary to popular belief BRP does not have a huge warehouse here in the U S for parts. Contrary to another popular belief dealers do not order parts from CA-NA-DA! The system that is used ( I know it sounds crazy but it is true) is that it is a parts sharing system. A dealer in the U S has any...

    Mean people suck

Yea, this one always baffles me every time the subject pops it's ugly head up. This quote says it all. "I have discovered the enemy, and he is within" Do ya think? Jack

    Mean people suck

Me too! We ride everyday. It is great exercise and we have access to almost 200 miles of paved bike trails one block from my house. Can't say I have ever enjoyed anything more than the E-Bikes. Thanks for your reply. Jack

    Mean people suck

Why do you people even engage in this kind of behavior. Totally ignore these type of things. Truthfully a lot of you feel a little unmanly riding these things or are very thin skinned. I rode Harleys for 57 years, was patched to the chapter in Seattle and honestly saw very little put downs of...

    Touring with the Virus

I like what most here said except for a few. This whole thing is not about "Me and We". This is about all of us. The more we are out and about (even a short trip) the more we expose ourself to the virus the more we are apt to spreading it to someone else. Did you know it can be spread through...

    SpyderGirl...

So what's wrong with 'old posts"? I happen to like old posts and "old Goats'? I will be 80 in two weeks so to me a post that is 11+ years old is just a blink of the eye! I miss some of the "old" originals. Didn't have to be all so touchy feely and politically correct and their posts were very...

CanAm / Sena SM10 Bluetooth Module and SMH10R Headsets - How to?

I have my SMH10B's paired with my Garmin 665 and 40 XM puck. Works great. Do not need the SM 10. Can also listen to AM/FM with the radio that came with the 2014 RTL. It did require the Garmin Harness. Jack
