• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    twisties

I've spent quite a bit of time riding both pretty aggressively. The F3 is easier to ride in the twisties. However, if you have the ability to ride both to the limit, the RS is considerably quicker. Personally, I feel like I'm "driving" and F3 like a go-cart. You are planted in the seat...

    What GPS do you have

I use my Nexus 6 with Google maps. It's been SO much better than any Garmin I've had in the past. Plan routes on the computer then send them to yourself and others. Hard to beat the voice control too. I'll never go back to a stand alone gps Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    1500 CC ???

BRP's target spyder audience isn't into it though (performance). It's all about bags, lights, trailers, etc. The watercraft industry is completely different, being more performance driven. So, while it "could" be done, it likely won't. I think the best you'll see for quite some time may be a...

    1500 CC ???

Obviously you might not see the same numbers, however, That's the beauty of forced induction. You could put the power anywhere you want. Guys push 300+hp easily and reliably on the water. Street would be even better/easier. The problem is direct drive vs. transmission. Sent from my Nexus 6...

    1500 CC ???

The rotax 1503 triple makes 155hp NA and 260hp with a supercharger stock. Yes, either configuration would be a big improvement in power. Highly doubt they would ever make it to the Spyder though. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    Slide Over Spyder - Honda’s Neo-Wing

They had this at the 2015 Tokyo motorcycle show beginning of April. If you could get on the "special person" list, you could even demo ride it before/after the event. It's the real deal, but who knows if it will ever see production. On another note, the Tokyo motorcycle show should definitely...

    Bigger Front Wheels

If you have an SE forget about it. The SM is much more forgiving and the older SM is even more forgiving stock. Some have relocated the sensors to one wheel, others have been able to "adjust" the position of the sensors on the tone ring, others I "heard" are removing/narrowing a few teeth...

    alignment specifications

The length does affect the measurements considerably. That's why there is no real "magic number" anyone can post for the shade tree method. The laser system just allows for consistent specs firing the lasers to a set distance target. You could do the same with tapes and bars to, once you...

    alignment specifications

Because there really isn't a necessity to fabricate anything, and cost absolutely nothing to do but a bit of time with common materials found around most garages. Further, doing it yourself gives you the ability to dial in your own setup. The "alignment" changes constantly as you ride and the...

    alignment specifications

I have no clue what the official alignment specs are, but there are quite few of us that have done our own shade tree alignment with 2 lengths of angle iron attached to the wheels and 2 tape measures. We shoot for 1/16" toe in with the weight of the rider on the Spyder. Personally, I've gone...

    ALARM AND/OR CUTOUT SWITCH

Isn't that what the DESS is for, to prevent it from starting without the key? Heck, many don't even want to start WITH the key....😉 Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Is it enough to cause a lean condition (P0174)

Check the big rubber boots that attach the throttle body to the motor for cracks. Purge valve could be sticking open too. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    uh oh stripped drain plug

Hell must be frozen over because I agree with you.[emoji38] I only use torque wrenches when I have multiple fasteners that need to be consistently the same torque, like a head for example or something very specific. The routine maintenance stuff is way more common sense. Like I tell my kid...

Is it enough to cause a lean condition (P0174)

No. It isn't THAT sensitive. Your leak is VERY small, and likely seals itself up when hot? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
