• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for a male connector to fit this? Need to charge GPS!

Even if you're able to make it work as stated, the issue that you're going to have is that once you shut the Spyder off, the GPS battery will power the GPS till you tell it to shut off or the battery dies. So, you still have to take action to shut the thing off.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

That's great MPG! Was that with the ECO mode engaged?

How Long did BRP take to contact you after your Spyder purchase, if at all??

I certainly hope that Dakotaz has his dates messed up! If not, he may want to run a trace on the tracking number and see what's going on.

How Long did BRP take to contact you after your Spyder purchase, if at all??

In the past when I have purchased a new vehicle, I have always been contacted by the manufacturer in either an email or by snail mail. They welcome me to the new family and thank me for buying their product plus suppling contact info in case I need it. Sometimes a bit of swag is included. Not...

    Random thought for the day

One wonders if one would have to bring their own customer to eat or will they be provided when ordering?

2016 Spyder RT-S has a misfire and dumping gas. No codes, uses gas very quickly.

Does the oil smell of gas? With that much gas going 'somewhere', I'd be very afraid of my oil being severely diluted! Engine damaging diluted.

Do you have Water Spots on the Engine finish?

No need to blast the leaf blower at full tilt. Most, if not all, blowers are adjustable, so... Unless there's some sort of filter, any blower is capable of sucking up something and then spitting it out at high velocity. I've had very good luck using my yard blower/vac combo on all of my...

Bright Headlights Daytime Yes or No

In my experience on two wheels. One could have a high intensity flashing amber strobe light on your head/helmet along with a light up suit and still, some people will not see you. You can't see what you won't look for.

What do you think your Spyder looks like?

We've had snowmobiles in the past, we had two actually, mine and my wife's. Sold em both along with the trailer a few years ago. I've spent many a fun time on these machines and I can tell you that the Spyder does in fact require the same rider input and the two machines feel very much alike. Of...

Do you have Water Spots on the Engine finish?

Just wondering, are you sure that your outside water is softened and filtered? In most cases, the outside water faucet normally gets fed before the softener. This is the way my house was plumbed and it's the same for others that I have checked. In any case, add me to the leaf blower list. I...

Who would have thought that Grip Puppies could make such a difference!

I'm not talking about the bar ends; I'm talking about the ends of the stock grips. On mine there is a large 'flange' on the outside of the grips. The Puppies would have to be stretched over the flange or the stock grips would have to be removed, then install the Puppies over the stock grips and...

Who would have thought that Grip Puppies could make such a difference!

I already have a good trick for installing grips. I use my air compressor along with a trigger air nozzle. Get the grips started on the end of the bar, insert the air nozzle under the edge of the grip and give it a blast of air while pushing the grip onto the bar. Works like magic!

Who would have thought that Grip Puppies could make such a difference!

I've used Grip Puppies on my two wheeled bikes and liked them. I considered adding them to my F3 but I was wondering if the Puppies would stretch enough to fit over the 'flange' on the outside of the OEM grips? Those who have installed these, were you able to stretch em enough to over the...

2023 RT Engine Noise - I'd be hard pressed to recommend them!

Wow, that REALLY sucks! I feel bad for you. Have you checked out the lemon laws in your state? You should investigate this. Do you have an attorney? If so, I would give him/her a call and see what they have to say on this subject.

How easy is it to replace Mode and Parking buttons? The print on 2019 RTL has gone!

That's a good idea! Instead of spray I might just brush some on in a couple of thin coats.
