• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've gone from ATGATT to H (just Helmet).

I'm on team ATGATT! Well, most of the time. I have been known to ride my Spyder without all of my gear. In fact, I'll probably do it tomorrow. I have a 2 car garage that currently is holding: South bay: 2023 Honda Ridgeline Sport North bay: Gorilla cart steel utility cart, John Deer E130 lawn...

What is this mystery part in the Fog Light schematic - 'Braveway' - What does it do?

What is the recommended Tire pressure for a Canyon?

The Operator's Guide for my Spyder has a section on tire pressure. It even has a picture of the sticker/label under the driver's seat that shows the recommended tire pressures.

Has anyone else had issues pairing Android 14/15 phones/tablets to their Spyder?

This CAN-AM website has a lot of information about BRP GO and BRP Connect and how to get things working. There's even a section on "How to connect..." via bluetooth. https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/nz/en/discover-can-am/technologies/brp-go/faq.html

CarPlay Froze, then entire Head Unit Froze Up While Riding, then supposedly updated and rebooted on the Highway - Anyone else had this happen?

Some updates. So my iPhone SE 2nd Gen that I've had for several years has finally stopped holding a charge. It used to be that after an overnight charge it would easily last the entire next day, and sometimes longer. But in the past week the battery has only lasted a couple of hours before...

Any ideas on adding an aftermarket USB for phone charging during travels on our 2017 RT?

I went with a powered docking station from Slingmods.com. They have them for a variety of Spyder models and years. They mount to the handlebars and include instructions for wiring them for power. This link is to the 2010 to 2019 Spyder RT model...

I HATE Vapor recovery (ECO) gasoline pump nozzles! Is this just "my issue" only? Anyone else? What do you do to avoid this?

I just checked with Google, and it says for Tennessee where I live that gasoline trucks are required to use "Stage I" vapor recovery hardware when filling the underground tanks at the gas stations, but "Stage II" recovery hardware is no longer required at the fuel pumps of new stations, but is...

I HATE Vapor recovery (ECO) gasoline pump nozzles! Is this just "my issue" only? Anyone else? What do you do to avoid this?

I remembered this message thread while filling up my vehicle today (not my Spyder). None of the pumps had a vapor recovery collar, which is why I hadn't noticed it as a problem the last time I did fill up my Spyder.

Oh, so you're using an iPhone to post the pictures to the forum? I haven't tried that, although I am an Apple user and am posting this from a Mac.

Let’s start a fad - passing Spider Rings (from Amazon) to other Spyders

I have a Gremlin Bell on my Spyder. The bell portion is made from a .50 caliber shell casing, and the clapper is a .223 bullet. I'm pretty sure it scares the bejesus out the Gremlins.

Having trouble wiring a Garmin XT, so should I just run it on its battery? If I do, will it still show traffic?

The power points on the back of the 660 and the XT are very different. Garmin Zumo 660: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20150606/669729681e36999a2092aaa8e9f268b1.jpg Garmin Zumo XT: https://cdn-fastly.motorcycle.com/media/2023/03/28/11374339/mo-tested-garmin-zmo-xt-gps-review.jpg

Right low beam on F3 burned out - should I replace both headlights?

I just spent a few minutes with Google, which suggests an LED headlight will last between 30,000 and 50,000 hours. Using the 30,000 number, if you ran your LED headlights 12 hours a day, 365 days a year, they would last a little over 8 years. I don't think I'd worry about replacing the one...
