• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Curious if the LH footpeg/frame combination of a Ryker Sport is strong enough to support the weight of a person....

It will support you with out a problem. Many others here have the same issue and added a third foot peg on the left. I did the same and liked it so much I added one on the right ( right foot peg need some grinding to fit) Hope this helps. Merry Christmas Bruce

Any ideas on what might cause this abrupt loss of power?

As Ex-Rocket said underground tanks get water. (condensation) But water is heavier than gas and goes to the bottom of the tank. The pickups in the tank are about 2ft from the bottom to prevent you from getting water. If you get fuel right after they get a shipment, this get stirred up and can...

2022 Ryker Rally rear seat stuck - any suggestions?

If the button is up (about an inch or so above the seat) it should just slide forward. Sometimes it can be a little stiff, but not too bad. Don't force it too much.

I Killed My Battery - left it on a tender... New battery awaiting collection!

The "Battery Tender JR" is a great little unit. I have using the same one for twenty years on four different bikes without a problem. Battery Tender also makes a small tester, that you plug in the same as your charger. It has red and green lights and tells you the voltage. About $15.

Has anyone seen or have info on this electric Ryker shifter mod?

I found it was easier to get at after I removed the airbox. A 5mm screwdriver bit and hook a 1/4" wrench on the end will get in there. I have a small Mastercraft kit that has a small gear wrench with a bunch of bits.

Sound Cameras will be installed in Montgomery County, Md.

Mikey, I used to watch a TV show called Northwoods Law. The Maine Game Wardens on that show always said it was illegal to run anything but a stock exhaust on quads, snowmobiles, side by sides... Don't know if it was true or not.
