• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Decisions, decisions

Be prepared is my moto. Where you are it can get cold real quick. Nothing worse than riding a motorcycle when it is too cold.

    What happened to the hippies?

During the 60's I got my first full time job at a leather store. We supplied most of the leather and beads to the ones in Northern Mn. We sold thousands of sq. ft. of leather in those days. I stayed away from the drugs and psycho influences that were very prevalent at the time.

Curious if others have had battery issues with newer OEM Batteries?

Yes, there is a lot of that going around with the 24's. Yuasa is a good brand, I averaged about 4 years with all of mine.

    Random thought for the day

Another sign of the times. George Orwell was right about "big brother." There was a similar movie to 1984, named "Brazil." That was also very interesting.

Happy December. Winter is coming. For some of you, and glad it is not me, winter has arrived with a vengeance. It has been cold here (20's) but it is doable for me. We still have some green patches in the grass and fields, but they are browning up as I speak. The good news, Winter...

I received the same message. The site was back up and running within two hours on that incident. I have received no additional information from site administrators or from other moderators.

What is the difference between an F3L and an F3T ?????

The F3L is the most "upline" version of the F3. It has a few more "bells and whistles." Real chrome for the "chrome" package. I believe the main difference between the F3T and the F3L was the addition of a "travel trunk" on the back. The T model just came with saddle bags. Since we are...

Spyder pricing (looking for my first) - which do you think is the better deal?

I bought two F3L's from iMoto. Fortunately for me, I had NO mechanical issues with either. I used Spyderpops and Lamonster Garage for my oil changes, tires, and accessory installs. Neither vendor is an "official" Can Am Spyder dealer. I do feel that most people would NOT run into issues...

Any discussion/opinions on extra Upright Grips on handlebar ends?

My memory does not recall this type of handle grips mentioned on SL. The GW site may be your answer for this one. :dontknow:
