• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Simple solution to wiring a GPS

    I have a 2012 rts and I bought a lighter plug from Oreilly's with a rubber cap. Mounted it in the right hand speaker grill, pulled the right side mirror off and fished the wires down thru the panel to the frunk and wired it in on the ignition side. Works great.

    Yea, I usually get a gas stop in and can then go without mode screen. Wish there was a way to do away with the mode screen altogether.:pray:

    I bought one at the auto parts store, attached it to the right speaker grill on the left side of the grill for clearance on the underside and pulled the wires to the fuse panel in the frunk. Pop the mirror and slide them right down to the fuse panel. It works great and has the water resistant...

    Not sure how much you have ridden since the new battery was installed but usually the sensors sort of have to collect their thoughts and to relearn their parameters. Just a thought!:thumbup:

    I hope to tap into my rear lights to add a four wire flat for the little trailer we've been looking at. Haven't looked at the wiring yet but hope to soon.;) Don't see that it would be a problem, but more people out here have more experience here than I. Good luck!
