• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tricled DRL A-Arm lights issue

Wow! My first note I got a disappointing response. Tricled responded to my second note almost immediately. Impressive! They said they will send me another LED strip and new module. I'm impressed....don't have it yet but I'm impressed! Thank you Tricled!

    Tricled DRL A-Arm lights issue

Anybody else have this issue, and if so, was a fix available. Right side (as sitting on bike) works as advertised and looks great. Left side used to work as advertised. Now left side is dimmer and rapidly flashes. When I hit the left turn signal it does flash but with no amber. It does not...

    FOBO 'disabled' question

Appreciate that.......might take you up on that. At this point, I contacted FOBO via email. I didn't want to call as it seems like they are in Malaysia? They surprisingly got right back to me. They asked a few questions and said they will get back to me soon. We'll see.......

    FOBO 'disabled' question

Yeah, I tried that but got something like 'operation unsuccessful.' Thanks though. Are you a member of SRASF?

    FOBO 'disabled' question

This time every year I have to replace the batteries even though they look good. Usually not a problem. This time, replaced the battery on the rear tire and all is good. However, both the Front Left & Front Right say they are disabled. I can't figure out how to enable via the FOBO User Guide...

    Rear trunk strut replacement

Most likely operator error on my part, but I ordered the bottom mount parts, Ball Stud - 250300039 and Hex. Flanged Elastic Nut M8 - 233281414 but the nut was too big. Should be M6? Is the ball stud the correct size for the shock? Thanks for any insight you can provide.

    Parts List Question

Yep. I'm an Ace fan for sure. I already did that and I have a working replacement. However, being a little anal retentive, I'd like stock parts. The new screw works but it is a phillips head. No big deal, but if possible I'd like to keep all the fasteners stock.

    Parts List Question

Stupid question.......again :dontknow: This concerns my 2014 RTS SE6. In the past when I needed to identify parts for a particular issue, I used Cheap Cycle Parts. They have diagrams for different areas of the bike which you can zoom in on and get part numbers. Very handy, at least for me...

    Walker transportation?

Thanks everybody for some good ideas. Definitely think the hitch is the way to go and just so happens a Harley riding buddy of mine is a welder and an artistic guy at that. I have some other things going on at the moment, but when I get it set up, I'll take a picture and share. Thanks again...

    Parts list for Gas Struts

First, thank you so much for the info! As far as the trunk goes, I assume you need 2 of the end fittings for the shock, and 2 of the M6 snap on ball sockets correct? What size did you end up using for the Ball Studs, 1.19 or 1.63? BTW, I already fixed my seat shock after getting a Russell Day...

    Walker transportation?

You are correct....pretty much always 2 up. I have a heavy duty walker, but today as a matter of fact, I was going to get a very light weight one specifically for this purpose. I don't have a trailer hitch......yet......but some kind of rack on a sturdy hitch seems the way to go. Thanks!

    Walker transportation?

Happy Holidays everyone. Thank you LaMonster for this forum. I get along with my Spyder and cane. Any real walking (if you can call it that:rolleyes:) requires a walker. I've seen posts about walkers but no actual solution on how to cary on a Spyder. I do have a trunk luggage rack. Any...

    Gas shock for Spyder seat

Just wanted to say thanks for the info. I now have a RDL that pops right up! Note that the part does not come with the heads that go on either end. It was a bear to remove/unscrew them from the original but it is doable. Thanks again!:2thumbs:

    RDL Heater hook up

Hello, I have a Russell DL which I love by the way. It is heated with wiring included. Question is how to hook up. I was hoping to bribe someone to help but no luck. (I have some physical issues which makes it harder) Anyhow, Russell says you can either run directly to the battery, or best...

    Rear trunk strut replacement

Old thread but timely for me. Just got back from a long ride and would have been nice to have a tad more storage so got Big Bike Parts trunk carrier. Haven't used it yet but looks great and think it will work BUT trunk will no longer stay up. Would have been nice if they warned you so you can...

    Seat install quick question

Just to update, getting those nuts in place with my uncooperative hands, was a &%#$ but..... Russell Day Long installed. Short day ride later, and for me, it is sweet! I also have the backrest and it's incredible IMHO. Can't wait until it is actually broken in! Now just have to wrestle with...
