• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need Input - Lost Gas Cap

I also throw mine under the seat BUT guess what, you can close the seat with it there if it's not on the center frame. I know because I did the same thing. Stopped, filled up and got into a conversation with someone about the Spyder and drove off without putting it back on. Went down the road...

    New Shark Evoline 2 helmet.

Lamont, I have the same shape head but have the same Shark EvoLine2 helmet. If you look inside the helmet, under the removable linner and on top of the styrofoam shell, there is a 3/8" thick rubber bad about 2" X 5" in the front where your forehead would contact the helmet. I removed it and all...

Let the exhaust wrap job begin

It wasn't my muffler that was in the way. The rear header pipe (the one exiting to the right side of the unit) will not allow me to push the brake cyl far enough forward to mount the foot rest support peice of aluminum because the aluminum peice has a large hole in it where the master cyl. bolts...

Let the exhaust wrap job begin

Stripperking, Curious about how YOU removed the aluminum on the right side. I unbolted the master cyl and peddle bracket and was able to pull the master cyl far enough forward to clear the aluminum peice. How did you do it?

Not sure what to do with the rear belt sprocket/pulley yet but I hear that 2011 chrome accessory package may include one of these in chrome. I HATE THE ALUMINUM ON THIS THING. MISSION IS TO GET RIDE OF IT ALL

Let the exhaust wrap job begin

Exhaust wrap UPDATE!!!! Well, have all the parts off and have now decided to have it ceramic coated thinking, aS someone said "it's all off, why not ceramic coat it". I reason that if I'm not happy with that, I can always go back and wrap over the ceramic. Cost was $250.00 and included the...

Let the exhaust wrap job begin

Cold here so I thought today would be a good time to start on the task of wrapping the exhaust on my RT. I've spent most of the day removing the front cylinder (left Side) header pipe. This is a BIG job. Couple of tips for those of you planning the same job. I spent over an hour trying to remove...

    Fog light aiming

There is a screw (large, about 3/8" knurled knob) under the left and right removable pannels just forward of your foot position. The same pannel you'd remove to check your oil on the left side. right side is the same pannel. These adjust the headlights only. I don't think there is any adjustment...

    Rear air bag problems

I might just be clear out in left feild but something concerning the reported air bag problems just caught my attention. A couple of months ago, when replacing the rear tire on my RT-S, I experienced a problem with my air bag. After I had finished the replacement of the rear tire, I took the Rt...

Dealer just called and looks like PE#0180 will be ready tomorrow (Saturday). It's been 20 days this time and I'm really anxious to have it back. Got a tell you folks, even though I've had ALL these problems, I really miss having it. This RT was THE ONLY reason I still get to ride. I'm 66 and my...

    Would you buy...

I much prefer the RT simply because I ues it mostly for longer rides. I love to make long trip with this machine and never feel like my rear is betten. Any in town ridding I do is to/from office or short trips. Love the open road and that's exactly what this was made for. I've added a few things...

    Thanks Carlo

You know, I've had more than my share of problems with my RT-S but DPS wasn't one of them. It has been replaced, simply because I was at the dealership when all of this occured and they scheduled me first. I'd gladly of waited for those of you that DID experience problems and from reading all...
