Tomorrow morning, weather permitting, my brother, my girlfriend, and I will be heading to Sturgis. I'm going to try to update this every day. If anyone else is going, post it on here, and maybe we can try to meet up somewhere?

Heading out myself tomorrow. Wed/Thu in Sturgis and Fri/Sat in Deadwood. We reversed locations this year. This year will be the last for a couple, as we have been going for the past 15 years

Cool, left Central Va at 0700 this morning. Arrived in Morehead, Ky at 1630 for the night. 450-ish miles.

Left Jefferson City yesterday about 1130 (waited out some rain), still rode in it for an hour or so. Made it to Sioux City, IA at 1930.

Have a fabulous trip! We've done it multiple times on the Harley and looking forward to trying it on the Spyder.
Iron Mountain, Custer Park and Spearfish are some of our most favorite rides. Last time we also stopped at Glacer National Park and of course had to do Beartooth Pass. Be safe!

A few years back I ended up in Sturgis during Bike Week by accident. I was returning from visiting the National Motorcycle Museum before it closed and there was a Tour of Honor bonus in Sturgis. I probably had the dirtiest bike on Main Street that day. It had been raining (no big deal) so the bike was filthy. Got a t-shirt that didn't have skulls and cross bones or H-D insignia on it and took off.

Don't need to do that again.

The folks at the Rock Store almost fell out of their chairs laughing when I showed up wearing a Sturgis shirt that next Friday.

It's an experience, that's for sure.
