• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there anyway to get more than the 2.1 that the USB on the Spyder?
Even if you add a docking plate it is still 2.1?
Reason I ask I have a Android and run music and Calimoto at the same time and it is very hard on battery consumption even plugged into the glove box USB.
Do the GPS stay charged with the 2.1?
Help a guy who is stupid on this stuff.

The cable in the glove box is a USB A connector.

I installed a docking station on my handlebars from Spyder Extras, which is connected to the accessory power port on the right front of my Spyder. The documentation says it provides 2.1 amps.

I have the docking station and ordered it with dual 12V. That way I can power one or two 12v devices and if I need a high power USB, I just put in a USB adapter. That way I am not limited only low output USB ports.
