• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The pictogram on the Mode switch and Handbrake switch is fading - anyone have any ideas?

The pictogram on the mode switch and handbrake switch is fading/dissolving. It won't be long before the switch lettering disappears altogether.
Anyone have any ideas?

I can't tell from the photo if it's oxidized or worn. If oxidized, there are treatments that can be applied to the surface to restore depth of color and gloss. As you are in GER, stating a specific brand may not be useful. Choose one that does not leave a greasy film; older ArmorAll products left that greasy film, which just attracts more dirt.

If it is worn, good for you! You've been riding a lot!

🙃 I keep on reaching down to the tank to set my Ebrake, then wake up that it's on the right-side grip controls!🫣

Stick on braille dots. They come in a wide variety of sizes, colours, and styles. Chose the letter and stick it on the switch or just above the switch. Once you associate the braille letter of the alphabet with what the switch does, then you don't need to take your eyes off the road.

May not work with gloves on. Not sure if you can feel them through gloves or not. They are also visually different, and come in different colours, so a black dot set on one switch and a white set on the other would be possible.

You would have the only motorcycle that Stevie Wonder could ride.

I am not really sure why, but my bank put braille on the buttons of the drive through ATM; or maybe the ATMs all have it and the drive through has it by default.

If there are stick on braille letters, there are also stick on alphabet letters, but the thing about the braille letters is that they are made to touch, and so, should not wear off easily.

Or maybe try these:

Sort of makes you wonder why Can Am didn't put the stickers where they wouldn't be subject to wear to begin with.

Most likely the next new Can Am model to be released will have the marking on the switches just like it always has been.
