• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How can I open the Turn Signal & Mirror Case without breaking something? Any thoughts?

I did a search and found little information so I'll post this question. My right front turn signal is out and I'm curious about how to open the case without breaking something? I know there's tabs, but I'm not sure where they're located. Any thoughts?

Check your connections first. Use a voltmeter to check your leads to confirm you're 12v to the connection point. I can't find anything on opening up your rear view mirrors. Check with Peter or BajaRon on how to do it.

You can buy an Acrobat PDF copy of the Shop Repair & Maintenance Manual online for US $24.50.

Thanks guys, I've got a service appt. next week and I was just trying to get ahead of the curve. One item to share with others; after repeated oil changes requiring the magic mirrors to be removed (6 to 7 times) the connection/plug for the turn signal failed on mine. The wires separated from the socket and so far are impossible to reconnect. So, before I make things worse, off to the service dept I go.
