• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone have problems with Tricled Peel & Stick Wide-Vu Mirrors?

2022 Spyder RTL. Ordered these mirrors from Slingmods. When trying to dry fit these I found that the plastic rim on the back of the add on mirror was a bit too small to fit over the factory mirror plastic rim without a lot of pressure applied. i called Slingmod and they're going to contact the manufacturer. Some reviews of the product on Slingmod said one guy has one of his mirrors fall off. Another said he sanded down the rim on the add on mirrors (sounds very messy). Another said he added two sided tape to the top and bottom.

I hope this part makes sense. If the add on mirror is "flexed" to fit to the factory mirror it's going to have pressure from the bend trying to pull it away. Adding tape to the back seems like there would be much less contact with the adhesive that's already on the mirror.

Any have this problem and a solution?

Thanks y'all.

Same problem here. New 2023 RT and just received my mirrors from Slingmods. No way they are gonna fit over the plastic outside trim piece on the factory mirrors. Anyone figure this out yet other than adding about 3 more layers of 3M tape?

Same problem here on my 2020 RT. One fell off. Sanded the rim and added a drop of super glue to the rim... It has now been fine for 3 years.

ST mirrors have no rim np. However, in prep cleaning, let the surface evaporate dry (I learned this when doing decals).

Yes, I never had an issue with my STS as the mirrors had no trim edge around their perimeters. My RTL has this trim which prevents the back of the wide view mirror from making very much contact with the face of the OEM mirror surface.

Seems like the wide view unit is about 1/32 - 1/16 inch too small to fit over the OEM edge trim.
