• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    FOBO 'disabled' question

I never could keep the FOBO working for any length of time. I got tired of the aggravation and removed them. They're in a drawer in my garage. Maybe I'll check the firmware updates and try them again.

    Amp Install?

I think I'd talk to a car stereo store and see what they say. The input requirement of the amp may or may not like the Spyder speaker output, but there's ways to make it work. I hope you'll post your results here, because I know others would be interested. Rick

    New kenda kanine tires

I'm glad to see this. I'll be needing tires soon, and I'll feel much better with an improved tire that meets BRPs requirements for compatibility with the Spyder's high tech suspension. RC

    UVC Fair or rip off?

UVC, dealer prep, service tech lunch fee, etc... call it anything you want. It's all profit to the dealer and they are entitled to a profit. Dont play their games with them. Just ask for the "out the door, bottom line price" and make your decision based on that. That's all that matters at the...

FoboBike app gone from BRP CONNECT screen

I had trouble with FOBO sensors staying connected. I reinstalled, replaced batteries, etc... and it works for awhile and the problems start again. I got frustrated and took them off. I'd like to get them working to a reliable level. I'll follow this thread.

What experiences have you had with Lithium Batteries?

This explains some of the questions. I think it's just a matter of time until vehicles switch to lithium batteries. The cordless tool industry has made the switch and they seem to be a huge improvement. https://enerdrive.com.au/2017/11/29/can-charge-lithium-battery-lead-acid-charger/

    Laser Alignment

Ron, What puzzles me is that BRP didn't do this alignment from the factory. My bike is one year old and it didn't handle this good when it was new. I was at Maggie Valley last year and I didn't get the alignment done because I thought it would be a waste of money on a brand new bike. I just...

    Insurance on 2019 Spyder

Problem with blocking telemarketers numbers is that they often use spoof numbers and the number you block is not actually their number, but the number of a legitimate person or business. If the legitimate person needs to call you, then they can't get through. They waste a lot of our time. The do...

    Laser Alignment

I had Netzley Tire do a laser alignment at the Maggie Valley, NC Spyder Rally. I didn't really expect to notice any difference since the Spyder was not pulling to one side, or showing any abnormal tire wear. I was pleasantly surprised. The main thing I noticed is easier steering. It seems like...
