• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

RUBY Wife names everything we drive. Named our red 2012 RT S RUBY, and the matching trailer I made TUESDAY. You don't want to know what she named the truck, car and riding lawnmower.:shemademe_smilie:. Gary

    TIRE SUPPLIER?

O.K., I know that car tires would be a good replacement for the front tires & that riders have their own brand preference. But where do you get them?? My local tire guy said that he couldn't find anything in the brands he carried in my size (165/65R14). Tire Rack only lists two brands in this...

    front tires

I've been using the Kenda's, but after 10K miles the dealer says that I need new tires. I haven't had a chance to look at the problem yet as the bike is in for repairs (ref: Fall down-go boom-boom). I always kept the tire pressure correct and have had her laseraligned also. Bad set of Kenda's?

    front tires

Is there a general consensus as to what brand of aftermarket tire would be best for the front end of my Spyder? I live in the pacific NW, so it should be a good rain tire too. Thanks, Gary

    1330 ST??

O.K., here's the deal. My wife had test drove a 2014 RT and loved the 1330 engine/tranny combo but liked the ST's outline better. After not seeing what she wanted on what the 2015 line, she asked me if it would be possible to take a 1330 RT and change the rear end for one from an ST. I realize...

    fall down...go boom, boom

Well, I just got a call today from Lifestyles with the estimate to fix Ruby. $8245. Haven't heard from the insurance company yet. Hope that they'll cover it. I can expect my premiums to increase. Gary

Suggestions For BRP Concerning Future Models

O.K., maybe I'm just talking out of my hat but here is my list: 1) How about a HUD "heads up display" (like those used in old fighter A/C) so that you don't have to take your eyes off of the road to look at the dash. It would contain speed (MPH), RPM and gear. The technology has been...

    Leaving WA for Durango

Day 4 - made it to Green River Just checked into the River Terrace Inn. Lovely room - has A/C that is on full blast. That last 109 miles between Salina and Green River is just a killer.Great scenery, but the afternoon temp was in the high 90's to low 100's. Who wants to stop the blessed wind...

    Leaving WA for Durango

Made it to UTAH. The wife and I just finished day three and are holed up in Brigham City. The bike (RUBY) has been running like a top. The trailer has had some problems. Tows just fine, lost one fender and I just found the other one broken in half. I'll have to think on metal fenders with a...
