• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ir's not considered polite to air one's dirty laundry in public...

Thank you for sharing your "perfect storm" experience with us.

I have never thought about backing up protocols. Never thought that my "reverse trike" could become a delta trike and easily tip over.

I learned something new today, and hopefully, this will save me from a potential disaster.

Thanks. :thumbup::thumbup:

Bob (aka CruzrMom)

You have to know this couple to appreciate the story, they are funny as hell and really great characters.

 I'm going to have to make sure, and correct this deficiency in my life's experiences! :D :2thumbs:
They sure do sound like my kind of folks!

Damage to Ruby.

From tipping over:

1) Left mirror ripped off.
2) Left saddle bag scraped up.
3) Trunk lid scraped.
4) Left fender out of alinement.
5) Windshield brackets broken (2 busted, don't trust the 3rd).
6) Windshield scraped up.
7) Broken mounts on Tupperwhere panel under mirror.

From rolling down driveway and into ditch:

1) Right front nose panel shoved back.
2) right front nose chrome busted.

Damage done to us:
Me: abdominal bruising. CAT scan said I was O.K.
Her: Bruised elbow.

She sure that I did that on purpose. We were really lucky with this. We are surprised that came off as well as we did. Getting too old for much more luck.

 That's pretty extensive... I hope that there's nothing structural; damaged up front.

Ruby is at Lifestyles now for an insurance estimate. They will let me know what they find and match it with I found. Wonder if this blew my laser alinement?

Sorry to get a chuckle out of your misfortune but you have to admit the mental image is funny. Now for the serious part I do back out of my shop down my driveway such as you were doing. I very well could have done exactly the same thing. :banghead: Thanks for the heads up.

Well, I just got a call today from Lifestyles with the estimate to fix Ruby.

$8245.

Haven't heard from the insurance company yet.

Hope that they'll cover it. I can expect my premiums to increase.
