• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Clear, Dry and 21F......

I've rode in as low as 13F degree's and will ride lower if there isn't excessive ice/snow/salt on the ground. I have some decent snowmobile gloves, motorcycle over-pants and a heavy motorcycle jacket with liner. I also wrap a bandanna around my face/neck. I commute to work about 20 miles 95%...

    Looking around

welcome I'd say they SHOULD take $13,500 for it unless they are upside down in it and need payoff. I haven't priced the SE5's but you can get a brand new SM5 for at least $1K less than that here.

    BPR Touring Windshield

I'm still getting a lot of noise and some head buffeting with the 23" BRP Ultra Touring at highway speeds (65-75 mph). I did 150 miles 2 up on Saturday with a strong head wind and it was almost abusive. I'm debating between the Robobracket and the Laminar lip. :dontknow:

    woo hoo

Yes, welcome I got my '08 full moon about a month ago. Speaking of trucks, I need to go out and start mine so the battery doesn't go dead from sitting.

    Coolest three wheeler

There is a really cool video of a guy testing the T-Rex on a track in the rain on youtube. There is also a video of one drag racing a Spyder, but it only really shows the first few seconds of the race.

    Airbag jackets

I don't think I would wear a fabric or leather jacket in hot weather, at least for in-town riding. However, I've been really impressed with the mesh pullover jackets I picked up for my wife and I. They have the lighter EVA armor and, to me, they're comfortable in temperatures as high as 90 - 95...

    Airbag jackets

I'm definitly going to be buying one of these air jackets down the road. Right now for slow cruising in warm weather I wear a mesh armored jacket, half helmet with goggles, jeans, boots, gloves. For freeway driving I change to my full face helmet and add armored overpants.

What Should I Pay for 2009

I got my new 2008 SM5 with the 3 year warranty for $13,058.00 after everything, including tax. The best price quote I got on an '09 was about $1000 more than that. For the yellow or red it would have been another $500. I worked all 5 dealers in my area to get to the bottom line.

I can size your photo's and post them if you would like. I want to see how your windshield turned out too!

    Big Bore Kits

I've had big bore kits on my ATV's and Dirtbikes. Just doing a big bore alone doesn't generally yield a whole lot, mostly torque but often you lose some rev's and it revs a bit slower. I found better gains in going with a higher compression piston and wilder cam profile with some mild...

    new 250cc spyder knock off

I disagree, I would say a scooter is way safer than a poorly engineered 3 wheeler any day. With a 3 wheeler you're depending on the vehicle to stay flat as you TURN through a corner with the bars. The primary control you have in this case is countering the turn and front end traction with your...
