• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our hearts break from the passing of MOgang member Richard Riedel

It breaks my heart to hear that Dick has left us. I only met him three times but what a great guy and what great stories he could tell. The Spyder community will sure miss Dick as he was truly one of a kind. Carl

    CO2 inflator

In the bike I carry a mini compressor but when I take the trailer I carry a large CO2 bottle, pressure gauge and air hose. They both work quite well. The CO2 inflation kit I bought at Lowes. Carl

    2014 STS Limited Aftermarket Windshield

I have both the BRP Sport Touring windshield and a CalSci windshield. http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/SpyderSTprod.html The CalSci is wider and offers much more wind protection than any of the BRP windshields. Carl

    New Side panels

Yesterday my wife and I rode down to South Pittsburg, TN for the National Cornbread Festival. This was the first time we have ridden our 2013 ST-S with the new panels for more than 200 miles with temperatures higher than 70 degrees. On the ride yesterday we had temps in the mid 80s and I must...

    New Side panels

On my ST-S I removed the black pieces on both sides that BRP added and it did help. Although the heat appeared to blow up through these openings and onto my thighs. Have not ridden and RS so not sure if it has the same effect or maybe it is more open on the bottom and the heat exits below. Carl

    New Side panels

Rick, on the 2013 Black Currant color there are white decals I believe that have the following part number 704903435. You will need two of them. As for screens for the opening on the new panels, I do not think they have been on the market long enough to allow anyone to make some screens. And...

    New Side panels

Benggolf that looks mighty good. Proud of you for taking that leap of faith. ;) We took another ride of 263 miles and I must say I think there is a definite improvement in the cooling. But the true test will be when things warm up. We shall see, we shall see. Carl

    New Side panels

If you have all the parts in hand, should take no more than two hours. And that includes applying the new CanAm decals. It is really a piece of cake to do. Nothing about the parts swap is rocket science. Carl

    BRP Sport Rear Fender

I like the looks of the new fender. And it actually looks much better on your bike than in the pictures I've seen. Carl
